A bed was delivered to my address today while i was out at work. I received a picture from my neighbour of the package left leaning against my front door. So not only could it have been stolen or damaged. If someone was in and opened the door from the inside, the LARGE package would have fallen and most likely caused an injury
Review of Hilton Hotels & Resorts
The review is 2 star purely for the staff who were quick to act initially, however somewhat dismissive. We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Albert Docks Liverpool. On arrival to the room, there were no blinds in the window, only a net curtain which didn't block any light or heat into the room. The bathroom was a heavy, sliding glass door. I slid the door to close and it completey came away from the runners and fell forward onto me. I had to stand and hold the door in place whilst a call was made to reception. Reception requested we go down and they will give us a new room. We were told that maintenance was being done on the room today which is why the door wasn't secure. I pointed out that i had an 8 year old child with me and had this have been her that moved the door, the outcome may have been very different. I asked if all rooms don't have blinds and was told that the maintenance team hadn't put the blinds back up in the room. On arrival at the new room, the air con wasnt working and was flashing for maintenance. A call was made to reception to inform but no action was taken. The sofa bed in the room was full of what looked to be dog hair, the actual frame of the bed was very sharp and the covers were stained. I wasnt confident at letting my child sleep on the sofa bed due to the sharp metal edges. We had booked for 2 nights but unfortunately only stayed for 1 night due to the unsuitability of the room. Staff were informed of our reason for early checkout. Very disappointed with the outcome from such a well known brand.

If i could give zero i would. I have been waiting for a refund for over a month for a cancelled event. Refund sent to a closed bank account which Seetickets were made aware of before the refund was issued. Told numerous times to wait or that it is being looked into. 4 weeks later and still being told the same thing. Asked for a manager to call me and i get ignored. Absolutely appalling service. £198 sitting in their account when i should have been contacted for new card details. Looks like i will never see my money again. Will never use again and will be advising others not to.
UPDATE - i was asked to contact an alternative email address and guess what? I got the same unhelpful response. Still no refund, still withholding my money. Shocking customer service. In a time when people are strugglin financially they are practically stealing from customers. Bravo!
