Do not sign up with Virgin Media

I started a 12 month contract with Virgin Media in April 2024. I now want to cancel and have logged in only to find that they have amended my contract to start in November 2024 and end in November 2025. I have phoned the complaints but was unable to get any support and the complaints webchat form does not work. I want to end my contract without paying penalty fees

Do not use this company

Unprofessional service and I would not use them again. I had to wait 45 minutes to get my car back and there are £15 pounds hidden parking charges as these are not included in the fee.

My login into my online account stopped working. I phoned twice to report this and was charged 20 pounds for this. I haven't paid this yet and have now been handed over to a debt collector Ardent who have sms'ed me for payment. The sms advises that I will receive an email with a payment reference but I have not received this

Opodo kept my bank details even though I removed them

There was no warning that my subscription was going to be renewed. I cancelled last year and removed my bank details from the site. I do not want another full year subscription, however Opodo have renewed and will not refund my money even though I no longer want their services

Stealing from customers

I will never use Opodo again. We booked our tickets 11 months in advance in January only to have them changed by Opodo in September. We were advised that a flight was cancelled and we would have to accept the change implemented by the airline with a significant changeover time in Doha. The original flight is however still on sale. I can only assume it because they can make more money selling a flight with a shorter delay to other customers

Flights retracted by airline and resold to other customers

We booked our tickets for travel in December 2023 in January 2023 to ensure that we booked at a reasonable price with a minimal stopover. The tickets we booked went via Doha. In September we were notified that a flight was cancelled and we were forced to change our booking. We are now departing 5 hours earlier with a 5 hour longer stop. HOWEVER the existing flight we were booked on is still for sale by QATAR with the exact same departure time. Disgusting that they treat paying customers this way.

I have just purchased a phone for my daughter as a birthday present. The day after giving her the gift the screen has gone blank. I am trying to contact Backmarket to ask how to get the data off so that I can exchange the phone but am getting no response
