Good but always have a spare credit crd

I have been with Chase for a year now. In the main it has a good app making transfers between accounts easy. The exchange rate is very good for travels. However it has been declined a few times without Ryme or reason. I always have to carry a backup credit card

Fantastic service

After getting the runaround from The Bigbathroom shop. who sold me a triple exposed shower unit guaranteed 10 years (except the cartridges)of course. Which was a Hudson Reed knockoff. They gave me incorrect info on the spares . I finally found Tapmagician. The spare part info from them was more helpful. However the standard spare was slightly too long . Tapmagician made one up while I waited!! unbelievably great service

How can a bank not have a dedicated…

How can a bank not have a dedicated telephone line for scams? or even any telephone contact if there are problems?
I have seen the reply which does NOT solve the problem . If you are being in the process of being scammed a dedicated phone line to contact a fraud investigator of the bank is essential . As Revolut are renowned for NOT paying up to scam victims. I'll stay with Chase who have a telephone contact

Have had two claims which were paid after showing proof of payment on my credit card ( statement showing full name & address required though) I bought an annual with the 62 day extension which is great for long term rentals

I have flown on Ethiopian countless…

I have flown on Ethiopian countless times since 1984 . Service has always been excellent . I now only fly on them Business class . Their lounge at Addis Ababa is much improved and their flight connections between 0600 and 1000 at Addis are amazingly efficient. The food and service in Biz is exemplary . I use them to South Africa instead of the Gulf Carriers they are half the price out of LGW.

ECCO golf shoes are quite good and…

ECCO golf shoes are quite good and normally well made , however they are only value for money when on special offer from their shop . They tend to be on the tight size so easers are required . They use EVRI for delivery in the UK , I cannot understand why such a prestigious make use such a bad delivery company

Go compare had Budget insurance at £474 however

Go compare had Budget insurance at £474. Was transferred to Budget Insurance website . I did not take out any of the Additional cover or RAC membership . No other alterations ,cost increased to final amount of £531 more than 10% . I'll stay with LV , an honest insurer and will have nothing to do with RAC ever again

Does not cover Showers or any part of it and a hard wired timer!

I took out this policy , including leaking taps. However if the leaking tap is part of a shower , forget it. Also if you have any plumbing problem or emergency near a shower it will not be covered ( All in the fine print of course) I was advised of this by the engineer NOT the call centre when I phoned up and advised it was a shower tap!
Latest: I called to have them fit a new hard wired timer for my electric towel rain. Very nice call centre agent . Called me back to explain that she spoke to the underwriter who stated it was NOT covered under several subsections. So tough if your central heating or immersion heater timer goes on the blink!

Thank you for your feedback. We have reviewed your policy and issued you with a complaint response. Your policy was purchased online which means you confirmed you had read your policy terms and conditions before any payment could be processed. Within these on page 10, it does state:

'Repair or replacement of showers including the shower unit, controls, outlet or shower head,'

You were also provided with a 14 day cooling off period in which you could have cancelled your policy without any financial penalty if you felt the cover did not meet your needs.

I was on the hunt for a decent deal & NOT forced to have a"Smart " meter

I was on the hunt for a decent deal wthout being forced to have a smart meter. ( I have PV panels AND a generator due to being at the end of the line) The App : I took a long time to understand it's various quirks ( why it's 4 not 5 stars). Quick responses to queries . It is best to photgraph the meter every two weeks an on 1st of the month . So far so good

Maple parking is the ONLY meet & greet parking I use

Maple parking is the ONLY meet & greet service I use at Gatwick .Very convenient , especially North Terminal. I have utilised their parking over 8 times now . HINT . ensure you have you cash washed just prior to drop off, makes everything a lot easier on pickup

What a totally useless app.
After faffing about for 30 minute to obtain Verifly passes for my self and my wife in order to check in online for a JNB-LHR flight .When we reached the airport I was again requested by security for our passes on Verifly.
All my wife's data & the pass had disapeared when I opened the app. Another 30 minute delay ensued

Used the walk in service at Gatwick

Used the walk in service at Gatwick @ 1020 in the morning . My wife's result received at 1500 next day . Mine at 1800 . Somehow my date of birth was incorrect . It was taken from my account NOT my passport. the reason for 5 stars , I sent an e-mail to customer services and within 20 minutes it had been rectified by Sarah Brown and a new certificate issued.
