Misleading practices and Poor customer support
Ultrahuman does their absolute best to hide the fact that they ship from India. Nowhere in the buying process—even when opening the 'shipping policy'—is this stated. Furthermore, they have European customers pay in Euro, as well as stating upon checkout that the price is "including tax." Only by digging into their FAQ do they have an item named "Guidelines on purchasing the ring from countries other than India."
Now this alone is not exactly a deal-breaker, but the fact that it took me 4 days of continual trying to even get a human on the line to answer my questions relating to the surprise import, was the final nail in the coffin. The support person even had the gall to say that the delay was due to "recently transition[ing] to a new chat support system," which, gauging by the reviews here and elsewhere, is obviously not true. Luckily, at this point they had only shipped the sizing kit.
The only reason they do not get 1 star is that, at the very least, once I *did* get a human on the line, the refund process was painless.
