I ordered a very expensive sofa and armchair back in May and was so looking forward to it being delivered. It arrived last Friday and the delivery team were shocking, they arrived early and were on site less than 10 mins. They were adamant that it wouldn’t fit through my lounge doorframe and had to take the sofa away again.
Since then I have been advised by the customer service team that the delivery team should have been able to get the sofa in as the door was more than wide enough, they had probably neglected to take off the temporary feet. I am now in a situation where no-one appears to be able to give me a date for redelivery despite having made numerous phone calls and spoken to three different people. I really hope it hasn’t been lost at the delivery depot, which the silence suggests.
I have been sent a complementary blanket to compensate for the inconvenience, but as you can imagine this doesn’t make up for the stress and worry of wondering if I will actually get my lovely sofa. I would just like a straight answer and a direct line I could call so I can deal with the same person twice. The staff are lovely, but the delivery service shocking.
