Excellent service, time and time again

I have shopped with Seven Hills Crafts for years now and they are my go-to for craft supplies. Tara and Rick go above and beyond to ensure that orders are processed quickly and efficiently. They are also very knowledgeable about the crafting industry, passing on the latest information about new releases, stock levels, issues such as tariffs etc. via email and social media.

Excellent service, every time

I have used Seven Hills Crafts for several years and have never had anything but fast, reliable and friendly service. Tara and Rick are very focused on their customer base and are always approachable for information, advice and creative ideas. I can't recommend SHC highly enough!

Great quality and prompt service

I've ordered a few DA roses over the years and have never been disappointed. They are always carefully packed so that they arrive in the best possible condition (despite the occasional delivery driver not following instructions!). Highly recommend.

I am sorry to hear that sometimes our drivers do not follow your specific delivery instructions, all instruction is passed over from ourselves and we do also follow up any delivery complaints that we get in order to resolve them but sadly this is out of our control and down to the drivers discretion.
Again, I am sorry that this is not always followed but I am happy to hear that it has not tainted your experience with ourselves.

Lovely but huge

I love Seasalt clothes but am finding their sizing erratic. I have no complaints about the ease of ordering on the website and (thankfully) their returns system is really efficient. However, the fit of Seasalt clothing is a bit of a lottery - sometimes the fit is spot-on, but lately, more often than not, items are either way too long (even in petite) or too big overall, or both. Had to return this lovely dress, which would have been ideal for work, because it was just huge!

Usually fabulous...

I took advantage of a really good offer to order a lovely jacket in a petite size 10. The jacket arrived promptly but although both the order/returns note and the tag on the garment stated that the size was 10P, I knew instantly that this couldn't be right. I checked the inside label and sure enough, the actual size was 10R. It's an unusual mistake for Boden to make, in my experience, and fortunately the offer was still running, so I managed just in time to re-order and have returned the original jacket today. Hopefully this order will be accurate as the offer will have expired by the time my re-order arrives. The jacket is a gorgeous colour so I'm looking forward to wearing it, all being well.

Review of Homebase

Named-day delivery 4 days late!

I paid for named-day delivery but other than the text from Homebase on the day I placed my order telling me I would hear from the deliver company soon, I heard nothing else. I waited in on the delivery day but by 3pm had still heard nothing, so I rang customer services. After some investigation I was initially told just to continue to wait as, although there was no tracking to be found, I was scheduled to have my delivery that day. At the end of the call the customer services operator told me there had been a change and that my items would now be delivered the following Monday. When I said that a) I had paid for named-day delivery and b) what if I wasn't able to be at home on Monday (I work full time), I was simply told that my delivery charge would be refunded and that I had the option to change my delivery date. This was missing the point entirely. I had a day off for these items to be delivered and simply refunding the delivery charge wasn't going to compensate for that. Later in the day I received 2 text messages: 1 saying that my items would be delivered on 24th October and the other saying that my items would be delivered between 13:08 and 15:08 that day - 15:08 being approximately the time that I was on the phone to customer services. While the delivery team who brought the furniture on the 24th were excellent, the poor communication and service I received prior to this was extremely disappointing. Not that it should make a difference, but this order comprised items of furniture at a cost of over £500.

Not impressed

Not impressed. Ordered online, paid. Then got an email to say the item was out of stock. Received a refund but it’s not a great first impression - no indication on the website that the item wasn’t actually available.

Great chairs but beware the shrink wrap!

The chairs are lovely and go really well with my oak dining table. Delivery was spot-on. So why only 3 stars? Because I am still, a week later, trying to pick out bits of plastic cling film from between the seat and the frame of both chairs. The upholstered seats were evidently covered in shrink-wrap prior to being permanently attached to the chair frame. While I really appreciate the protection of the upholstery it has proved to be an almost impossible task to remove the cling film completely. But the chairs really are lovely and look far more expensive than they actually were.
