Too Many Errors

Too many errors to list them all - told me tenants had not paid rent when they had. They could not give me the breakdown to replace an outdoor light which they charged the earth for. Did not complete a property inspection after 6 months as promised. Sent me paperwork for another Landlord with personal details on. My designated person left, was not given a replacement. The list goes on ….. In the end I put my notice in with them and decided to run the property myself as it was less stressful than relying on them. I did put a complaint letter in and they only replied to a few points and not the 28 points within the letter. Very shoddy service.
A year after leaving they still believe I employ them and are telling me my contract is coming to an end, would I like to renew? Never!

Stay Away

I have had terrible problems with this company in the past but gave them another chance! I am old fashioned and receive a paper bill each month. They have not sent a bill this month but sent me a text to say they have sent my bill via email. I have never given them my email so I phoned them and asked whose email they have sent my bill to and they don’t know! But they did agree they don’t have one for me listed.

I asked them how much I owed for the month and instantly paid it.

The next day they phone me to say I haven’t paid my bill and they want to come and fit pre-payment meters. I have never missed a bill in my life, I explained I had paid the day before and they said oh yes we can see that you have paid but they still want to fit pre-payment meters! I will be leaving this company asap!

Needed advice about an App for Bali

Booked a holiday to Bali costing over 6K. I had a scheduled appointment to discuss the run up to departure - nobody called me. I left messages - nobody got back to me. Finally after waiting 45 minutes to speak to someone I was told to call the visa team and was advised they would be able to answer my question about Bali and an app I needed to enter the country. The final straw was when they told me to phone Citizens Advice - extremely poor customer service. I phoned Travelbag and told them I had not booked with them but needed advice, they helped me, it took less than 5 minutes of their time. They didn’t try to rush me off the phone like Trailfinders. I also got through straight away.

To add insult to injury once I had written this review Trailfinders told Trust pilot I had never travelled with them! Luckily I had kept all my paperwork and could prove that I had indeed travelled with them - they say they have reached out to me, I have never heard anything from them ten months on from the holiday!

Live in Care for Mum

We needed a live in carer for my mother, we were lucky to find Live-in Care Direct. Jason promptly found us a wonderful carer. She was such a kind caring, patient and conscientious lady, she looked after my mum at home right until the end. Whoever this lady goes on to work for is very lucky. As for Jason and Keith at Live-in Care Direct, they were always available to talk to, they themselves are very kind caring people. I always spoke to Jason directly which was good to always deal with the one person. Without Jason’s help I would have had to have put my mum in a nursing home. The customer service was excellent, I would highly recommend this company.

Abominable Customer Service

SP deleted my account and then said I had not paid my bills with them since December 2020. They tried to make me pay twice. I had to prove I had paid, luckily I keep bank statements and paperwork. Once they realised they had deleted my account they said they would reopen it and put my credit back on the account. Instead they gave my credit to another customer and then accidentally deleted his account. In the meantime I have had letters advising that debt collectors can call round. Their staff promise to call you back, I have taken several days annual leave to sit at home surrounded by SP paperwork waiting for non existent phone calls. I have spoken to many staff there and they all tell me a different story. It has taken 3 months for them to finally sort this mess out, 3 months of letters demanding payment when I did not owe them anything. I have emailed customer service many times, they do not get back to you. You spend ages trying to get through on the phone, when you do get through you have to explain the whole sorry saga to a new customer service advisor, I am fed up of explaining to different staff as I reiterate the original person does not call back. It is strange though how they finally sorted things out the day before the Ombudsman could take over! I have now received July 2021 bill and they have taken the money twice, they now owe me yet again!
