Incredible sleaze

The best polite word I can use to describe Comcast is sleaze. I live in a neighborhood where Comcast is the only provider.

I am on the 400Mbps tier, paying $90 a month. It was 100Mbps, but they upgraded the speed for free. Unfortunately, I still get the same speeds as when I had the 100Mbps tier, 40-50Mbps. Online support was useless, telling me the problem was with my equipment. The chat replies were every 15-20 mins, so 4 hours of my time was wasted.

They advertised new nationwide pricing, so I went to look at what they had to offer. Five screens later, it tells me they say they can't show me my prices on the internet and I had to call to get "my special prices". Everything above board and transparent with that!

If you have a choice, even if it's Joe's Internet, avoid Comcast at all costs.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I have cancelled my subscription and after 5 calls, I cannot get instructions on how to return the device. The call wait time exceeded 5 minutes in some cases.

I got Planet Coaster at a very reasonable price. They sent the activation code within minutes. I activated it in Steam with no issues.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service.

Strike 1: I asked if they carried a certain item and the agent wanted to know my insurance info, Dr info, etc before he would tell me.

Strike 2: I eventually found the ostomy belt on their website and needed help sizing it to get the right size hole . The live chat told me she couldn't help with that and that I had to see the Dr to get that right.

Utterly useless customer service, time to change suppliers.

Poor service

Poor customer service is what I expect from this company now. I've had this less than 5 years and it has needed repairs twice. The first time it failed (after 1 year), it took 3 visits by repairmen to fix it. I was told the first two times there was nothing wrong with it, and the third repairman found the loose wire.

I called for preventive maintenance two weeks ago and paid over $200. The lift failed after two weeks.

Other than a Toyota Starlet, this was the worst purchase of my life.
