Poor service

Poor customer service is what I expect from this company now. I've had this less than 5 years and it has needed repairs twice. The first time it failed (after 1 year), it took 3 visits by repairmen to fix it. I was told the first two times there was nothing wrong with it, and the third repairman found the loose wire.

I called for preventive maintenance two weeks ago and paid over $200. The lift failed after two weeks.

Other than a Toyota Starlet, this was the worst purchase of my life.

Service is included with a new stairlift for the first year, and afterwards service is available for a fee. Annual service visits are recommended to keep your stairlift operating smoothly. According to our records you had not scheduled an annual visit in over a year. We have completed a complimentary service visit to address your most recent issue. With preventative maintenance and continued care your Stannah stairlift will last many more years.
