HEY REI
NOTICE THAT CAPITOL ONE, YOUR BANK CARD, IS SCORED 1.3 WITH OVER 3,000 REVIEWS. As a store, you're nothing special, but you trapped me into getting a card with this bank, and for that
I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU. NOW I HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO COURT.

They lock me out of my card and prevent me from paying it off and cancelling the card: gave them my SS, my bank, my DL and still they lock me out because now they want the "back of my DL" as if a guy trying to pay off and cancel a card could be a hacker! All because I "changed my cell number."

DEI IS A KILLER

Apparently DEI had turned this company into a remorselessly inefficient mockery of its self-serving claims. I had a Medicare Advantage policy for years, no complaints. And I'm healthy, no drugs, no prescriptions.

See, the downside is that I am 78 which means i have a long memory of back when companies gave a damn. They used to have a few score "5" ratings on
Medicare.gov: nobody does anymore.

I showed up for a Feb 9 physical and the doctor was told my card was no longer active. They dropped that program, nobody told me. So I call, they apologize, and i enroll in a new plan, say around 14 Feb or so. It takes a long long time to enroll again.

It's now 2 April 2025. NO CARD. Three separate calls, three separate promises. Got plenty of marketing materials, even got a bill. JUST NO CARD.

So "we got you covered" means nothing if I can't prove it, and they can't get it together to do anything.

Pointless. Going to try Cigna.

THIS IS A DELIBERATE SCAM OPERATION
They come in with the best rate showcased on legitimate websites like Kayak. You pay upfront for the discocunted price on the rental. Then they change the dates in the confirmation email: in my case they rolled the dates forward one day.

There is no contact number for redress, only an email. Then the response is that they will get back to you in maybe 7 days. Obviously, too late.

To rebook by modifying the dates you have to pay the full rate again, and they say that the earlier charge will then be rebated within 30 days. Well. as others have found, that's a deliberately staged nightmare. They are in Paris, no legal recourse. And your cc won't reverse or cancel for you: too much bother.

THIS IS A SCAM OR A SET-UP

A supposedly impartial search/comparison site called "insurify" takes your information then DIRECT AUTO wins the bid with $52/mo for a one year policy. In reality the "quote ID number" is fake and when you click on the purchase button you are sent to a rep who makes you go through the whole info process all over again, cchanging the quote to $67 a month. Why would I work with a company that lies upfront just to get a final quote little different from the majority of quotes.

I even talked with an local agent and she couldn't pull up the quote because it was a phony setup, Moreover the one year policy has small print that allows them to charge a penalty fee if you change to another carriere in that time period.

THIS IS OWNED BY ALL STATE, people, Do you want an insurance company that lies to you and hangs you up for an hour of wasted info? Think what a real claim would be like.

Amateurs working within a substandard format that all but makes genuine communication implausible. Tried a highly rated stylist for a reasonably important logo and got a totally jejune response. Ridiculous waste of time.

No Customer Service when problems arise

NO CUTOMER SERVICE
Things go wrong whenever you have this large an inventory. They have no efficient straightforward customer service phone number to handle problems..
I wasted onver 30 minutes trying to deal with a typcial bot pretending to be "human" customer service. I ordered a simple $7 item, and was prompted to buy four more and it would be free.
I did. Instead I received two instead of the one I ordered. And did not receive another item at all. Plus they charged me for alll five items. The bot couldn't figure it out. Mistake#1: I received two instead of just one, so I return the extra one. Mistake #2 I did not receive an item I paid for, so they send it to me. Mistake #3 they subtract the price of that item $7 plus tax, from the total. Any high school graduate could have followed what I just said. The bot couldn't. It wasn't even programmed to hand me over to a person when I so requested. And they don't have a customer service number. LESSON LEARNED. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, AND OFTEN DON'T EVEN GET THAT.

Columbia TN: they bought out previous owner. Had my storage units for 8 years then they raised the rates more than double without warning. I was paying $185 for two and it went to $420, primarily for a climate controlled unit. They advertise for new customers at much cheaper. I called, no answer, asked manager to call me. No call back, just a penalty for being 5 business days late, on Monday morning after I had called on Friday morning. SO negligible courtesies, indifferent service. A locker is just a locker, but these people care NOT AT ALL.
