Cross your fingers no claim has to be settled

Beginning of June 2022 Holger Danske Flytteforretning assisted us in moving some heavy items. We were satisfied with the move overall. A damage was made to the wall which can happen when you have to move heavy items up the stairs.

Shortly after we got a confirmation in writting the damage would be covered. We got a company to inspect the damage and inform about the cost which was accepted by Holger Danske.

Now three months later nothing has happened. Despite several mails, sending the requested information and also being informed the money would be transferred shortly, nothing has happened.

I paid the invoice on time. I considered deducting the money from the invoice myself to cover for the damage but was informed kindly not to do so by Holger Danske. My bad - could I go back in time I would have done that. Then this matter would have been closed.

Based on this experience I would not recommend to use Holger Danske. If all goes well - no issue. But if things go wrong and you do have a claim expect to spend a lot of time to get it settled - if you will succeed at all…

Dear Sisse,
I now can understand that it was our heavy lift department that helped you and that your communication has been during vaccation time with them, do to this, this case has never landed on the claim managers tabel, were they always are handel within 2 days.
I can understand that you were promised 1000,- kr to cover the damage on the wall, those have been send to you today - as I understand it, they were send wrongly to an other account, we are very sorry that this was the case and appoligise therefor, we always follow up on our customers, in this case we did not know they were send wrong.

We are pleased that you was sattisfied with the move and that your frustration was do to a failure in the transfer of money.

Stay away..

Placed an order more than 2 months back. Was informed of app. one month of delivery time. I have received no updates. Customer service is of no use - you communicate with a computer and get no where. Have written an email - no response 3 weeks later.
I have given up.
Not a lot but slightly more deducted from account that at invoice (app. 4 kroner).
Looks like a Dutch company but is Chinese - nothing wrong in that but why pretend to be something else?

Cannot recommend this company at all. I consider it scam. Buy somewhere else.

Update - July 21, 2021 - despite message from the company to my review about contacting me I have gotten NO response from them. I have not been contacted. Again. This is a scam. Stay away.
