Cross your fingers no claim has to be settled
Beginning of June 2022 Holger Danske Flytteforretning assisted us in moving some heavy items. We were satisfied with the move overall. A damage was made to the wall which can happen when you have to move heavy items up the stairs.
Shortly after we got a confirmation in writting the damage would be covered. We got a company to inspect the damage and inform about the cost which was accepted by Holger Danske.
Now three months later nothing has happened. Despite several mails, sending the requested information and also being informed the money would be transferred shortly, nothing has happened.
I paid the invoice on time. I considered deducting the money from the invoice myself to cover for the damage but was informed kindly not to do so by Holger Danske. My bad - could I go back in time I would have done that. Then this matter would have been closed.
Based on this experience I would not recommend to use Holger Danske. If all goes well - no issue. But if things go wrong and you do have a claim expect to spend a lot of time to get it settled - if you will succeed at all…
