Need to take legal action to receive approved refund

I escalated my complaint and they referred me to their whatsapp page, I have 6 pages of ignored messages on this app. I guess I'll have to take legal action to get the 58 euro refund I was promised on 23rd Sept.

Refund authorised on 23rd Sep, today is 13th Oct and I'm still waiting😡 CS is 1/10, a no reply email address and a robot on Whattsapp

Stress free holidays

The booking experience was easy via the App and we secured a free child place for our daughter. The Hotel was excellent, good location, good facilities, friendly staff, very clean and good quality furnishings. The transfers were trouble free. When our return flight was delated we received credits on our boarding passes for refreshments. My only negative is I think the pre ordered food is overpriced and not good value.

A worthy 4*

The Hotel is a beautiful building with great sea views. 3 pools and a gym. The Buffet restaurant was decent and varied options. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
But, they need to invest in some CDs, Adele every morning and the same mix in the evening.
I thought charging half board & all inclussive guests to attend their Cretan Night was cheeky and charging for the tennis courts and room safe was not expected. But, no charge for air co.

Very poor service

The driver did not know where our hotel was and dropped us in the next street.
We changed hotels and tried to inform Holiday Taxis but they were cutting off inbound calls, their chat lines were full and they did not respond to my email, not even the usual auto reply. Eventually I was able to inform them but at the pick up time no driver had turned up so we took a taxi. Just a poor experience from start to finish
1st & last time I use them.

The best package holiday company

First package holiday company to release summer 2024 prices. Lot's of options for free child places. Full range from self catering in a 2 star to all inclusive in 5 star. Low deposit and monthly payment plan. Generous luggage allowance.

Excellent service. We were greeted by Gail & Val and offered a brew. They were very patient with my elderly mother, taking time to explain everything and ensuring the chair sold was the right one for my mum.

No Refund for holidays cancelled by Citrus

ABTA guidelines are for holidays cancelled by the tour operator to be refunded within 14 days.
I am now waiting for 87 days for a refund of the £6,100 I paid 13 months ago.
Their contact centre are not taking calls or responding to emails.

Wouldn't refund my parking, baggage fees or tax

I could not travel from France to UK when the FR Government introduced stricter Covid restrictions. I knew I would not get my ticket price refunded as the plane was operational but I did expect to be refunded for the tax, additional payment for luggage and my car parking. Ryanair refunded nothing. In future I will just book my ticket, all the extras will be booked at the last minute.

Excessive wait for refunds

My Asian Tour holiday was cancelled 3 times due to Covid.
Citrus said I would receive my refund in 12 weeks, which I thought was very excessive considering they had my £6,000 for more than 1 year. But, they even failed to meet this deadline, in fact, I'm still chasing them. I was intending to rebook this holiday with them in the future but this experience has put serious doubt in my mind.
