Trust Pilot is well-named
Trust Pilot is where I always remember to go for customer reviews of a company or product. It has spared me of many a grief whenever I am considering a purchase or want info.

Review of Pushpay
I can’t believe that one of my ministries is PAYING PushPay to handle their donations, because of my experience.
My default credit card expired, so I added a new card. I could not set the new card as default, or delete the expired card.
So my auto-pay to one of the ministries I support has missed 2 months so far, due to poor program design.
Since it is poorly designed, what are the chances of PushPay getting hacked and credit card info stolen?
The ministry I support needs to dump PushPay and find another donor portal that works reliably.
Review of 4K Download
I'm a 73-year-old female, but try to use digital media in my volunteer work with children. The video downloaders I used in the past would work well for a while, then something would go wrong.
This product has been reliable, easy to use, and equipped with great control options. I highly recommend it.

Review of FedEx
I don't mind signing for a $300 item. What I do mind is staying home on the very date and approximate time window that they promised delivery in order to provide my signature, only to have them revise their delivery date for 2 days later.
If they could design an app like this, I would revise this review: I'm running errands and FedEx's app notifies me that their delivery employee is at my door. We're able to see each other and talk on our phones securely via the app recording our interaction. If necessary, I tell him where to put the item (in a nearby more-concealed area) and sign for it on my phone.
FedEx would be liability-covered by the recorded conversation that includes a photo or video of the item placed according to my instructions.
You’re welcome FedEx. What do I get for updating your app to 2025?
Review of Nest
The problem is that Google's NEST thermostat comes pre-programmed on automatic and for me shuts itself off before reaching + maintaining the target temp I set (74). For example, it shut off after 2 hours and my house was 91 degrees (I live near Los Angeles, NOT in the deert)!
I checked how to turn off its horrible automatic functions, and it took 15 steps! Clearly "they" want control of my temperature more than the user who paid for this.
I'm considering replacing it with one that shuts off when reaching the goal temp. NEST shuts off without reaching your goal temp.
Review of Plexaderm®
It is nice to have a trial offer to evaluate the product.
The skin tightening looked unnatural, even worse with makeup, resulting in a flaking appearance where applied.

Review of Cortexi
I am hearing impaired, but was willing to give Cortexi a try because of the 60-day money-back guarantee. It is very important that you purchase Cortexi from its authorized website, because there are already product copies out there. The "real" product arrived 7Oct2023 and I began using it according to instructions that day.
They gave me a 30-day extension when I contacted them to return it nearing 60 days (7Dec2023), with zero improvement.
I contacted them 2Jan2024, before the 7Jan2024 extended deadline, to return the product for a refund, due to zero improvement. They denied the refund claiming I was past the refund deadline. However, I had saved all receipts and correspondence to prove them wrong. A customer should not be put into the position of begging a company to honor its own guarantee.
I was getting no more responses via email, so I phoned customer service on 9Jan2024. Fortunately, I did reach a live employee who could review all of my correspondence with Cortexi. The employee asked if a supervisor could call me back, but I stated that I wanted to finish everything while I had them on the phone because I might miss their return call, and that I was losing faith since I tried email and was receiving no prompt businesslike replies.
I got the return authorization (via recorded phone call) and made sure that the RMA # was both on the outside and inside of the USPS-tracked box mailer; plus, kept/scanned the USPS receipt with the tracking # and destination on it. The return was delivered on 18Jan2024.
It is now 30Jan2024, 2 weeks past the date that the return was delivered. I requested a status of the return and refund and was told they were locating the return to confirm it, and that it could take up to 30 days to process. That is where I am at today, pursuing + waiting.
Review of The Home Depot
Here’s a list of the multiple glitches (numbered below) that I encountered in my recent experience with Home Depot:
1. I ordered a grill for assembled pickup, but (1) Was never informed when it was ready.
2. (2) There was no record or status of the order on their website, or on their phone app, when I typed-in the order #.
3. I picked it up, got it home, and discovered (3) No power cord, (4) No assembly tools that I might need later - to tighten anything loose, etc, (5) Scratches indicating it was either an out-of-box floor model, or a previously-returned item, and (6) No user manuals.
4. I called, willing to drive 10 miles again to pick up the missing items, and (7) It took about an hour to resolve.
I’m not a difficult person, evident in that I paid for an out-of-its-box item at the new-in-box price, was willing to keep it, and even drive back to pick up the missing items.
Trusting Home Depot with this $2,000+ purchase should have gone much smoother. I’m very conflicted about what happened, and wonder if individual customers get treated differently from their professional customers.
Review of HP Instant Ink
I have a BIG issue with HP instant ink: troubleshooting printouts are counted against your subscription! - for example: I subscribed to the 50-page-per-month count, and 20 of the pages were used for troubleshooting (clean + align printhead printouts). This should NOT be! This is customer-repulsive versus customer-friendly and -focused; it is also subscription-repulsive.
There is no mention of this when you sign-up!
The Instant Ink internet program should distinguish user printouts from HP printer problem printouts. I’m sure this could be done, just a matter of technical program design.
Please fix this, or I’ll be looking to another manufacturer with customer-friendly ink purchase options.

Review of Plexaderm®
08-18-22 UPDATE: Potential Plexaderm customers, please notice they responded to my original review saying they would refund me. One week later, no refund. Now I'm feeling bad that zero stars isn't one of my rating choices.
I have a 50-year reunion coming up and thought it wouldn't hurt to have a little help. I'd rate my wrinkles in-the-middle: not deep, just noticeable.
So glad there's an affordable trial version of this, because the results were very disappointing - and I wasn't hoping for "dramatic," I was only hoping for noticeable improvement. My results would make Plexaderm's TV ads look bad!
These products have been around for decades. The one I tried 30 years ago, "Sudden Change Under Eyes" worked much better than Plexaderm. I'll try to find it, but if I don't, I'll be fine - especially without Plexaderm.
And yes, I followed the directions for application precisely, doing all my homework beforehand.

Review of Mint Mobile
This is a first-month experience, a 45-mile trip out of town using my new MINT wireless plan and phone.
I needed to take legal papers from Whittier, CA (near L.A.) to Mission Viejo (toward San Diego on a major interstate freeway!), a 45-mile trip. This wasn't like a rural area! I was using map directions on the phone, and 7 miles into the trip, I had no mobile access, even tho' the phone was fully charged. I had no directions to follow nor could I phone the destination for instructions to get there.
It seems if I passed a "down tower," that somewhere during my 45-mile trip, the phone should have re-entered the network in order to help me. MINT's headquarters is actually located halfways through this trip.
My phone's settings indicated that the connection was "on" but not available.
Next day, I chat with a MINT technician who re-set my phone and is sending me a new SIM card. My phone's cover was not easy to remove when I installed the first SIM card. I am not sure if this will work, but sure hope it does. My previous plan was reliable but I would lose a few hundred dollars going back.
What did I learn from my over-confidence in MINT? What I would do differently if switching plans is try it for 3 months instead of buying an annual plan like I did.

Review of Wonder Labs
I like: (1) That Wonder Labs offers some health products that are difficult to find or too expensive elsewhere, (2) They ship quickly, (3) Their prices are good, and (4) They offer excellent coupons through email sign-up.
The only problem I had with one shipment of soft gel caps is that the caps stuck together inside the bottle.
