Good Afternoon Trudy Bishop,

Thank you for your review and time on the telephone today.

I am sorry to hear of the issues you have experienced with your medication, as advised if medication does change and the patient is on repeat dispensing prescriptions, Ideally the surgery should cancel the old repeat dispensing prescription and reissue again with any amendments needed.

This means that just one batch of prescriptions are active at any one time instead of two/three batches.

I hope this explanation helps with future orders.

On the whole the service is excellent…

On the whole the service is excellent but at times those dealing with prescriptions do not question what they see. I now have 112 tablets which have been sent in error. One cannot return them once they have been delivered. What a waste of NHS money

I will not be using Parcel2Go again

I will not be using Parcel2Go again. In my opinion, they are inefficient. On booking a pick up they advised me that the parcel would be collected on 26/12 then a day later on the 28/12. It was not collected but received notification that Hermes had been unsuccessful in collecting the parcel. They would try to collect again the day. They never tried to collect in the first place! I called my local Hermes courier to ask if she had been notified and the answer was no so I made my own arrangements with her
