I woke up to an email about a refund

I tried for a few hours to explain but all I could get was you can no longer play on our platform. I was going to send proof but no one was interested. It is a shame because I really liked the site and was working on a detailed review of how amazing it was. After the treatment I have received and Funrize flagging me, I am no longer interested. I was flagged and kicked off other platforms for no reason but only after they took my money.



I woke up to an email about a refund. I inquired about what refund as I was confused. While contacting my bank FUNRIZE sent me an email stating my account was closed. I am still confused as I have not asked for a refund but rudely told my account was closed.

Let me start with a compliment

I have requested my account be closed. Honestly I had such a hard time with withdraw that I don't see myself returning. Yes, I finally received it yesterday but that was at a 3 week mark. I don't feel comfortable at this point of spending anymore money there. The cashout is just way to stressful and very long. I usually turn around and invest it back but in this case I did not.

Let me start with a compliment: the site has an impressive selection of games. Truly, if variety were currency, I’d be rich already. Unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends—and where the headache begins.

I made the rookie mistake of opting into a bonus. Silly me for thinking “bonus” meant something positive. The playthrough requirements are laughably excessive, and once you finally claw your way through them, don’t expect a smooth cash-out. I submitted my payout request on the 6th. It sat untouched until the 14th, only to be denied without explanation. Apparently, they needed my driver’s license—but rather than ask for it, they just let the request rot in silence.

After contacting support (because of course, you have to chase them), I was told to send in my ID and then return to provide a code so it could be “expedited.” I followed every instruction to the letter. Four days later? Still pending. At this point, I’m half expecting them to ask for a blood sample or a notarized letter from my childhood dentist.

It’s clear they’re banking on players giving up and gambling their winnings away out of sheer frustration. Meanwhile, I’ve been verified and paid out same-day by two other platforms—no drama, no mystery codes, no scavenger hunt.

Bottom line: if you enjoy great games and don’t mind jumping through flaming hoops to maybe, someday, possibly receive your payout, this is the place for you. As for me, I’ll be investing my time and money somewhere that doesn’t treat cashing out like a mythical quest.

I strongly advise against playing or investing any money at this casino. Over the past three days, I’ve made repeated attempts to redeem a modest $100, only to be met with an exhausting cycle of delays and redundant verification requests. Because I once used my Skrill card—though not on my most recent deposit—I’ve been asked to submit a screenshot of my virtual card six separate times.

I’ve already provided both my bank and Skrill statements to confirm account ownership, yet they continue to claim more proof is needed. Most recently, they’ve demanded evidence that the virtual card is “in my possession”—a request that’s not only unreasonable, but fundamentally nonsensical. By definition, a virtual card isn’t a physical object you can hold. It exists digitally. Asking for physical proof of a virtual item is just another tactic to stall and avoid paying out.

I’ve requested my account be closed four times. Each time, they respond with vague promises to “check the status” or ask for yet another document. It’s a textbook runaround. The truth is, they have no intention of honoring withdrawals, and I have no intention of spending another dime on their site.

1 star is even too much. I went to check out and the lady checked my room to give me my deposit back. She came and told me she couldn't give me my 100 back because she said I smoked in the room. I lit incense while relaxing in the jacuzzi. Apparently she can't tell the difference in roses and nasty cigarette smoke. The rooms are half cleaned, breakfast is horrible. There are stains all over the curtains and sheets!!!!

I would like to start by highlighting…

At one time it was a good place to play. They did speed up the payment process a little. They were making improvements and then went the other direction. Constant pop up's wanting you to spend more money. Then games started disappearing or unavailable. It is blamed on laws, however there are casino's in my state. I had inquired about a huge amount of games were giving errors. I was told that Betsoft may not be coming back. That was no biggie really but what got me is still wanting to spend money knowing the next day they would discontinue SC. Anytime other places has done this, they did at least give you a heads up. They still offer gold coins which still would have been fine. I will no longer be playing due to the shadiness.

I have submitted my documentation multiple times and each time declined. I have also contacted customer support twice and also emailed requesting my account be closed 3 or 4 times or more. There are only so many photos one can take. After so many times it becomes problematic and one will lose interest in using the platform at all. As I have mentioned in all the emails today, there was communication. If necessary, I can post that here as well. You made an offer, and I explained why I declined. I value honesty and fairness, and I don’t think it would be fair to other reviewers. Even though no other reviewer would know, I would, and it’s a matter of principle for me.

I have responded to every single email, confirmed that I have read the guidelines, and communicated with both the reviewer and support. Criticism, while unpleasant, is beneficial and can foster growth. There are a total of 10 emails between us, and all the answers are there.

Additionally, addressing things in an aggressive and accusatory manner only ignites the situation, making it worse.

I recently received an email from Online Book Club stating that I would be paid $25 to purchase, read, and write a review of a book. Reading has always been a passion and an escape for me, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to get paid for something I love to do.

I purchased the book and wrote my review, but the process was far from straightforward. I had to verify my identity and send proof that I actually paid for the book. This took me a while because, in addition to my passion for reading, I have a child with cerebral palsy who requires constant care. I also foster and rescue animals, so every extra moment I had was spent trying to submit everything on time.

I should also mention that I have many health issues, including a heart attack and stress-induced seizures, which currently prevent me from working. Money is tight, but I purchased the book anyway, thinking I would make a little money. Unfortunately, like many online opportunities that promise payment, I was notified that my purchased copy from Amazon was rejected.

In the end, I wasted time and money that I really couldn’t afford to lose. The nitpicking and stress that came along with this process made it totally not worth it. I would not recommend Online Book Club to anyone looking for a reliable way to earn money from book reviews.
