Avoid this site, they're based in China and don't care

Ordered a batter early December but never received it or any order confirmation/tracking. Chased the supplier in January for a refund only to be told it had been delivered by Evri (Hermes) on the 31st Dec! We're a business and weren't open that day, the "POD" was also clearly not our address so the driver obviously didn't bother trying and just took a random photo showing a floor in a shop. I tried contacting Evri (Hermes) but they just said because it had been over 5 days since the delivery, the supplier needed to claim. Raised a claim on PayPal and told BatterireStore we hadn't received it and they need to contact Evri, but they didn't bother. PayPal side with them as they had "proof" of delivery, so we're the ones out of pocket because Evri drivers clearly can't be trusted to make deliveries. Avoid this site as they're not based in the UK and will not do anything to help if there is a delivery problem!

Drivers fake deliveries and can't be trusted

Don't care about customers, dispute system is a joke

Ordered an items early December but never received it or any order confirmation/tracking. Chased the supplier in January for a refund only to be told it had been delivered by Evri (Hermes) on the 31st Dec! We're a business and weren't open that day, the "POD" was also clearly not our address so the driver obviously didn't bother trying. I raised a claim with PayPal and after several weeks back and forth with the supplier, PayPal sided with the supplier because they had proof of delivery! No interaction we me and I'm not able to appeal. The supplier made no attempt to speak to Evri (Hermes) and because of the time it took for them to send me the tracking i.e. in Jan only after I appealed, Evri (Hermes) won't talk to me and says it needs to be the supplier.

Delivery incorrect and poor after sales

Ordered some 3.6m lengths of wood for delivery. The wood that arrived but was the incorrect dimensions, so contacted Wickes to arrange a swap. Wickes collected the incorrect wood in less than 2 days, but we didn't receive the replacement. Contacted them to find out when it was due only to find out that instead of arranging a replacement they had just cancelled the order, despite being clear initially that we wanted a replacement and being told that's what would be happening! The second person we spoke to credited the delivery charge, but then simply said we'd need to re-order it again! But its a 7 day delivery so now going to have to source it elsewhere so our project isn't delayed more than it already has been.

Read the T+Cs!

Needed to order 2 items for next day delivery, on their site it says next day delivery if ordered before 2:30pm, but called their sales to confirm they had them in stock and if they'd definitely ship that day if I ordered - they confirmed they would so I ordered.

The items didn't arrive and I'd had no tracking, so I contacted them the next day only to find out the items hadn't been shipped yet. They only shipped when I chased for the update and then lied about it claiming they had shipped on time, so I spoke to the courier who informed me they were only collecting today (the day they should have been delivered) and that the delivery would be in another 2 days, making it 4 days after ordering!

I spoke to power site (actually called Gen Power) only to be told if I wanted them "next day" (making them now a day late) I'd have pay. We desperately need the items so had no choice but to pay an additional £50+ to get them delivered, but there was no compassion, no compromise, no admission they'd let us down by not shipping on time, just pay if you want it tomorrow and read the T+Cs.

So my advice is don't believe anything on their site or that their sales team tell you.

Let down again

Ordered over £3000 of IT components from eBuyer and paid for next day delivery only to have DPD screw it up. The parcels were picked up at 17:27 on the 3rd Nov, then at 20:39 at the same depot it simply says "there's a delay at our depot" and they've not bothered delivering it today. Very poor service as no notification and no consequences for them.

Zero customer service

I've used Pure Optical for just over 2 years and not previously had any issues. But I placed an order on the 15th Sept for some lenses and when they didn't arrive I tried contacting them....but silence! I've sent 2 emails and submitted 3 tickets via their site. Every email and ticket promises a response within 24 hours, but had nothing. My last message was to tell them to cancel the order and that I have contacted my credit card company to get a refund! I ordered them from another site and got them next day, so will be using them from now on.

Don't seem bothered

I contacted direct air conditioning on the 31st July via their website asking for a quote on a specific system. Within a few days I'd spoken to Keely and she arranged for someone to come and do a site survey, so far so good. Wayne arrived on the 25th August and went through everything and told me I'd get a quote in a few days. 2 weeks later no quote so I chased, but didn't get a response, so left it a while and then chased again, still nothing. That probably should have been the red flag, but I get everyone's busy so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I carried on chasing at regular intervals.

Eventually on the 11th October, 6 weeks after his visit, I received the quote from Wayne, not only was the quote missing key basic information (such as how many rooms the system was for), but his email was poorly written and had numerous spelling mistakes making it nearly incoherent and certainly not giving me reassurance this was a company I wanted to deal with. The price on the quote was also outrageous and over £3k more compared with quotes from another suppliers for the same system.

I contacted Wayne and pointed out this fact, and asked if anything could be done on the price, and he advised he'd need to speak to his MD. A week later I'd not heard so I chased only to be told that no they could not improve on the price.

Clearly this company doesn't want the work and how I wish I'd gone with my gut instead of wasting my time chasing them for the quote.

If it wasn't for Keely they'd have received 1 star

Maybe the mattress is good but will never know!

Maybe the mattress is good, I guess I'll never know as despite ordering it on the 22nd Sept I'm still waiting for Eve and DX to actually confirm when it would be delivered.

When you order from their site it says, "get your mattress when it suits you with flexible delivery slots", but nothing could be further from the truth. I ordered on the 22nd Sept and got an email on the 23rd Sept saying it was on its way, but no way to know what day or even choose what day? How is that flexible?

I emailed their support the same day to confirm when it would be delivered to ensure I would actually be at home to receive it, and because they were collecting my old mattress so I'd have to get it downstairs ready, and the auto response was "customer services has a 4 day response time!". Skip forward a week and numerous emails later and I finally got confirmation my mattress was coming today, so I've been waiting all day, got my old mattress down ready, and yes correct no mattress, no update from DX or Eve (guess that'll take another 3 days) and I've had to lug the old mattress back upstairs, so thoroughly pee'd off with the very poor service.

I've told them to cancel the order and I'll go order one from someone else, and reading the other reviews left here by people with similar issues clearly I'm not alone.

Update 4th Oct - Thank you for your response, but you seem to have missed the point, I get courier companies are busy (we all are) and I'd be fine if the mattress was delayed, but what I can't stand for is just no option for choosing a delivery date despite your site promising this, and no information on when it would be delivered. Now I've asked to cancel, all of a sudden it's "planned in" for tomorrow, if that was the case then why am I only finding out via your Trustpilot update as still nothing from DX with the supposed two hour slot. But even if I believed it was planned for tomorrow, at what point are you checking that's suitable and I'll be there? I'm not sat at home all day, I'm at work from 7am-6pm so I can't just drop everything when its convenient for you or DX, you should be working with your customers and not expecting them to deal with your lack of planning and poor customer service.

Our large parcel courier has been experiencing some challenges with staffing and volume in their network, which are largely resolved now, but we appreciate this in no way should have led to your experience. Very poor communication/no customer service

Booked to have a large parcel collected 25th Nov between 8am-8pm by Hermes. At lunchtime received an email to say the parcel would be collected between 6pm-8pm....8pm came and went and still no sign of Hermes so I logged it to the website. According to Parcel2Go I cancelled the collection! Clearly I didn't but since they have no customer service to speak to my only resolution was to cancel or rebook the collection. Shocking service as my wife had waited in all day for the collection and I won't be using Parcel2Go or Hermes again.

28/11/2020 - So to give a further update, after posting this negative review I had rebooked to have the parcel collected today. Parcel2Go contacted me friday, apologised and offered to upgrade me to ParcelForce worldwide and asked if that was acceptable? I responded back to them within 25minutes and said yes but I still needed the parcel collecting today (saturday), but had no response? I emailed them again this morning after checking on their site, and seeing that my parcel was still down to be collected by Hermes today, but still nothing. This morning at 9am I received an automatic confirmation Hermes was collecting between 17:00-19:00, no surprise they didn't arrive and instead I got an email at 18:13 saying sorry they were "unsuccessful" collecting? My wife and I have both been in all day and have been watching our CCTV since 16:30 and they have never come close to our house or tried to collect the parcel.

I'm now cancelling the collection and recommend that if anyone needs a parcel collecting they don't use Parcel2Nowhere or Hermes as neither seem to care about their customers or the service they provide. If I could give a lower score I would!
