Horrendous

​I received a fine from Euro Car Parks and promptly submitted an appeal. Weeks have passed without any acknowledgment or response. This lack of communication is deeply frustrating and unprofessional.​

Upon researching further, I discovered numerous similar complaints from other users on Trustpilot. Many have reported being ignored after submitting appeals, with some stating they never received any correspondence or updates. Others have mentioned receiving fines despite paying for parking or encountering issues with the payment machines.​

This pattern of poor customer service and questionable practices is concerning. I strongly advise others to be cautious when using Euro Car Parks and to consider alternative parking options.​

One star is generous given the experience.

Nando’s never disappoints

Nando’s never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — whether you go for the classic Peri-Peri chicken, halloumi sticks, or their famous sides. Service is quick, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is always lively without being too loud. Great value for money, and the bottomless drinks and sauces are a bonus. A reliable go-to whether you’re grabbing lunch or meeting friends for dinner.

Great Customer Service, Average Food

This was one of the weaker meal prep experiences I’ve had. The flavor profiles and meal variety were underwhelming, and while the delivery was on time and the website is easy to navigate, the overall value just doesn’t compare to competitors at a similar price point.

One of the key selling points is that the meals are halal, which is a great benefit for those who observe that dietary requirement. However, since that’s not a personal priority for me, it didn’t add value in my case. If halal certification is important to you, this may be a strong option. Otherwise, there are better alternatives in the market.

Edit *Good customer service, called me following my review to explain. Unfortunately doesn't change my review on the food but seem like a good company who care about their customers.

1★ – Premium Price, Amateur Execution – EE Needs to Fix This

Switched to EE based on the promise of 1.6 Gbps service with 1.3 Gbps guaranteed. I agreed on the spot and paid the $69 monthly fee. I was told an Openreach engineer would be on-site April 11. All calls were recorded, I have full documentation.

What followed was a complete breakdown in service.

The order was cancelled without any notice. No call. No email. I only discovered this because I proactively called to confirm the engineer visit. If I hadn’t followed up, I’d still be waiting for an installation that was never coming. That’s a critical failure.

Two hours on the phone later, a second rep rebuilt the order. But instead of fast-tracking the install or taking full ownership of the issue, I was given a token one-month credit — and a new install date pushed to May 3.

I’m paying for a premium product. What I’ve experienced so far hasn’t reflected that not in execution, not in communication, and certainly not in how this was handled. Given the situation and the recorded call history, I’d expect a response that aligns with the value of the service sold.

EE now has a chance to get this right. I’d strongly advise taking it.

1★ – Misleading Speeds, Terrible Service

Paid $49/month for 100 Mbps — barely got 10 Mbps. After chasing them, BT offered an “upgrade” to 900 Mbps if I signed another 2-year contract. I agreed. Now I’m lucky to get 300 Mbps on a good day.

Customer service is appalling. They all run on Openreach, but BT is by far the worst to deal with — slow responses, dismissive agents, constant excuses. I raised a complaint and ended up switching to EE (which, yes, is also owned by BT) and while the speeds are slightly better, it’s still a mess. That review is coming next.

Bottom line: you won’t get the speeds you pay for, and if you complain, prepare to argue. Avoid BT.

Extremely Poor Service – Driver Didn’t Allow Reasonable Time for Pickup

Very disappointed with the level of service received from DPD today. The driver arrived for a scheduled pickup, did not use the doorbell, knocked once, and left within five seconds – without giving me any reasonable time to answer the door.

I called DPD customer service immediately, only to be met with non-existent support. Despite the driver being just across the street, I was told they could not return. Yes, the driver took a photo to prove they were “there,” but what’s the point of that if they don’t actually allow time for the customer to respond?

This kind of service is unacceptable. If you're going to offer a pickup service, the bare minimum should be giving the customer a fair chance to answer the door. I won’t be using DPD again and would advise others to consider more reliable alternatives.

Great Quality Food, Let Down by Poor Packaging and Service

The food is of commendable quality, with fresh ingredients, strong flavor, and a level of consistency that sets it above average. However, the experience is consistently let down by packaging issues. Containers frequently arrive damaged or leaking, making each delivery unreliable.

The order cancellation process is equally frustrating. Even after cancellations are confirmed, items are still sent out, which highlights a lack of coordination between the ordering system and fulfillment.

Although the food holds up well, the combination of poor customer service and operational inefficiencies significantly impacts the overall experience. Resolving these areas would align the service with the standard of the food.

Avoid Vanguard at All Costs: Incompetence and Hidden Fees

I cannot overstate my disappointment with Vanguard's service. Initiating an ISA transfer has been nothing short of a disaster, with delays dragging on for over 100 days in some cases. This is not a one-off issue. Many customers have reported similar hold-ups, caused by Vanguard failing to send the required documentation promptly.

To make matters worse, they recently introduced a £4 monthly fee for accounts under £32,000. This penalises smaller investors and makes the platform far less competitive than others in the market.

Customer service is practically non-existent. There is no urgency, no accountability, and no effective support when problems arise. Even when Vanguard acknowledges fault, the compensation is minimal and the root issues remain unresolved.

Vanguard is slow, unreliable, and increasingly expensive. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, avoid this company entirely.

Poor Quality, Misleading Warranty, and Zero Accountability

If I could give fewer stars, I would. The mattress began to deteriorate far quicker than expected, losing support and developing uncomfortable dips. At first, I wasn’t concerned, as Simba promotes a 10-year guarantee prominently across their site.

However, after speaking with customer service, I was told that the warranty only covers limited manufacturing defects and not common issues like sagging or loss of firmness. This is a clear case of misleading advertising. The guarantee is effectively useless for the problems most customers actually face.

The customer service experience was just as frustrating. Responses were slow, dismissive, and robotic. No real attempt was made to resolve the issue or take responsibility. Other buyers have reported the same pattern — mattresses failing within months, and Simba refusing to take action.

To make matters worse, there are widespread complaints about aggressive sales tactics, constant email promotions, and unclear returns processes that contradict the “risk-free” trial they advertise.

Simba Sleep overpromises and underdelivers. The product quality does not hold up, the warranty is meaningless, and the service is among the worst I’ve experienced. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

One Star – Poor Quality and Disappointing Meals

I was initially looking forward to trying Scoff Meals, but the experience was a letdown. The food quality was poor, with far too much raw onion dominating several dishes, making them difficult to eat. For a meal prep service, the standard was far below expectations.

If I’m being honest, I would rate the meals 2 out of 10. Even basic supermarket ready meals taste better.

While customer service was polite, it did not make up for the subpar meals. I have since cancelled my subscription and would not recommend Scoff Meals based on this experience.

Shocking Experience and Zero Customer Support

Attended a screening of Moana 2 at Vue Bristol Cribbs Causeway on November 30th at 7:30 PM (Booking Ref: WJ5PHWG). The experience was appalling. Two individuals, believed to be travelers, took over two of our paid seats. Their behavior was completely inappropriate for a children's film — engaging in explicit physical activity, loud talking, and general disruption throughout the screening.

We reported the incident on-site and requested a review of security footage to validate our complaint. Since then, we've followed up multiple times via online chat, phone, and email. Despite being told we would receive a response within 5 days, it’s now December 7th and we’ve heard nothing.

The complete lack of communication is unacceptable. We have requested a refund and, if there is no response within 48 hours, we will be escalating the matter with our bank via a chargeback. Absolutely disgraceful customer service from Vue.

They also take a ridiculous 10% from each transaction which is day light robbery when there in 0 protection to your items.
