Separate Hifi System.

I wonted a separate hifi system consisting of an amp, cd cassette deck & turn table.
The staff at the Chester branch were very helpful I got a great deal and was advised very well.
I got a cd & cassette player all in one which saved me a few quid.
The second from the system is better than I had hoped for.
So if in the future I feel the need to upgrade I will certainly be paying them another visit.
But at this moment in time I’m very happy with my purchase.

Only used once in 2 years.

In 2 years I have been with them I have only had to use them once. That went ahead with out any problems, from booking the engineer to him turning up.
It only took him a few minutes to rectify the problem, which was a blocked drain from tnr down stairs toilet.

New consumer unit

Ordered on line new 15 consumer unit, with rcbo, prompt delivery well packaged.The only downside was doing a rear entry tried using the silicon edging even put a bit of super glue on but would not stay in place. So ended up using the plastic bit supplied was ok when I add a bit of super glue to it which did the job, this is down to BG. Over all good product even though a lot of electraction tend to call BG. But I always use BG when I can and have never had any problems with them.

Internal conservatory roof.…

Was a bit unsure after getting the quote as it was a lot cheaper than the £15,000 quote we had. It has been a few weeks now since we have had it done and is a lot cooler and quieter in the rain. Not sure how warm it will be in the as we have not got there yet. Could not fault the fitters.

DISCOUNT CON.

Did not like the fact I was being given a manger discount when in fact items were being add on which I did not ask for. I was told I had been given them for free, was not until I got home and study the invoice I realised I had been changed and there was no mangers discount. I'm tempted to go back and point it out.

Wren's carbon footprint

Overall good till we got to the end and found we had bought stuff we did not need. Got a full refund but we're then told to dispose of it. Not very good for Wren's carbon footprint. The only other slight problem we had was the fitters turned up 2 half days later than arranged then left us over the weekend without a sink and cooker. Was not impressed by that,😩😩😩

Was it wort the money?

I have had this matters topper now for some time, I decided to buy one after reading the reviews.
I have use matters topper for some years, so thought I would try a more expense one. I have not found it any better than the cheaper ones, do not find it keeps you any cooler than the one I was using before. As for the so called pillow I got from the which was supposed to be free was like sleeping on a rock.
Would I buy another one when it is time the answer is no I will go back to the cheaper ones. Now am going to see if it does last so so called 10 years?

Bad customer service

What a mess had a holiday booked for the 14/7/20 to Ibiza booked it in the Sale store Manchester because there was 8 of us going. Then came the dread Covid 19 shops shut, so from when they shut I tried phoning on different days at different times then just a few days before the 30/6/20 and after an hour and half wait on the phone someone finally answered. Then I was informed of my opposition which were not a lot. Was told is was going ahead on the 14/7/20 but wit all the restrictions in place and no one in the party felling safe we desided not to go. Was told we could not have a refund, but we could rebook for the following year for an extra 1,3000.00 how nice of them. With only a few days to desided what to do and not knowing if I could get through again on the phone I had to pay the difference or lose my £1,600.00 deposit. If I bought a car and on the day I went to pick it up it was a different colour they would have to give me a refund if they could not provide what I had ordered. But the holiday firms seemed to have be able to hold there customer to ransom and make them do what they wanted. I have used TUI for many years but after this experience I will not be using them any more. I would just like to add that this has no reflection on the staff in the shop as they could not of been better, it just comes down to the kind of service you now get over the phone. So next time I will try Hays travel as from what I have heard they seem to be a lot more customer friendly ☹️☹️☹️☹️
