Worse than Hermes

Worse than Hermes

I’m not really sure how they even have a 2.1 rating. It should be more like -5. Royal Mail have obviously accepted all there poor reviews and complaints as they don’t seem to be getting any better. I don’t think I’ve ever had a parcel delivered that’s not been late.

Useless waste of time courier. Gives you a time slot for delivery, you wait in for the driver who puts a sorry we missed you on the app. He don’t even come to the house, this isn’t the first time these cowboys have done this either.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Cannot give you a simple answer to a simple question. When they don’t know the answer they pass you onto a different department or back to the main menu over an hour on the phone to this incompetent bank and still got know where with them. Time to move banks I think!!!

Oh dear terrible company.

Oh dear, yet another poor seller selling products they do not have in stock. I purchased a top that was showing as in stock, I had no notification of it being shipped so after a few days I contacted them and was told they’re having a problem with there supplier, I pointed out it was showing as in stock on there website when I ordered it. They replied it sells out quickly, I went back on and it’s still showing as in stock. So they’re selling items they have no stock of and cannot get stock of. Terrible company miss selling products. Avoid at all costs if you dont want hassle.

Reply:

I’ve tried that 3 times already, all I get is it’s the suppliers fault and if I cannot wait then go into my order and cancel it.
My point is you’re selling items you do not have to sell. That is fraud in my country. Receiving money by deception!!

Terrible company that cannot supply the correct part even after I have supplied the registration to them twice. Not sure how you can get it wrong twice even after having the registration number of the car? Very poor company!!

Morning Lee, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your experience.

I'm sorry that it wasn't up to your standards on this occasion. I've dropped you an email and left a voicemail to contact us back to discuss.

I have taken a moment to review your experience and whilst I understand how frustrating it is to have the incorrect parts, I can confirm that the OEM information provided by the vehicle manufacturer and the parts supplier does reference to your car. Meaning it should be a good fit. If it's not, as you know, we will happily cover the costs of return and investigate the reasons behind the error. We will cover this off when we speak with you.

Very poor customer service and do not…

Very poor customer service and do not keep to timescales given.
So this company contacted me and said they could give me a service. I gave them all the information they requested quickly, they then told me they will have an answer around 90 working days from the date they submitted the request. Today we’re will into the 120 working days. I sent 2 emails to them requesting an update to which I had no reply, so today I called them and spoke to a manager who could not give me any straight answers to any of my questions. There next stage is to send my information out again and wait even longer for a response. We didn’t really get anywhere and I come away with no answers to any of my questions. So now I have to resubmit my information and wait another god knows how long for a response. They was not willing to chase the company for an answer neither as they have an agreement with the company I was told, it doesn’t matter that they’re working for me. If I’m honest I’m not very impressed with Ther Fair Trade Practice at all!!

Very poor experience buying a car

So we enquired about a car they had for sale and arranged with one of there salesmen to view the car, when we arrived it was havoc. Know where to park other than at the other end of the industrial estate. We walked back to the dealership to find out the car was at the back of there valeting unit, after a while we finally got the salesmen to move it forward a bit so we could look over the car, the floor of the unit was soaking wet from the valeting bay and we kept getting spray from the jet wash coming over whilst looking at the car. Once he had pulled it forward the salesman just disappeared. We spent an hour looking over the car the best we could in the small wet space they had left for us. After an hour one of the valeters came over and asked if we wanted to test drive it. We said yes and he had to move at least 6/7 cars to get the car we was looking at out of the valeting unit. After another half hour wait to get the car out we finally had contact from the salesman again, we asked to test drive it, to which he said ok but it has no fuel in it so will have to go the the petrol station to put some in. Bearing in mind we had an appointment that had been booked in for over a week to do this and they still wasn’t prepared for us.
Went out for a test drive and the salesman just kept talking and talking and talking. Not even about the car half the time. We got back and had a chat about things we had found that we wanted doing if we were to purchase the car. Brake were very worn with big lips on the disks, wheels were kerbed, a damaged seat and the rear tyres were worn on the inner edge. They didn’t agree to do any of the work unless the mot guys said it needed doing. Anyway I knew the brakes would need doing as they was pretty bad, so we agreed a deal.
We then had to chase them for an update on the parts we wanted doing. When they finally got back to us they did the brakes and the wheels but not the tyres. So we accepted it and paid for the car, now bear in mind this was a £55000 car and not a £5000 car. Anyway after them telling us they needed 2 weeks to get the bits done and prep the car for collection. We agreed a date and time. We also purchased a 3 year RAC warranty with car and the car also came with a 30 day warranty from RDM.
Collection day, we turned up on time again to know where to park again. We looked over the car and finalised the sale with them. Drove it home and organised a detailer to come and clean the car properly as the job the dealership done was terrible.
After the car sitting in the garage for a few days we pulled it out to find a small patch of oil on the garage floor. After inspection we found the drivers side turbo was leaking oil. So we emailed RDM to get it done on there 30 day warranty, they told us we had to use the RAC warranty we took out when buying the car. We disputed this and after allot of chasing and hassle they said the car would have to go back to them for repair if it was covered under there warranty. Anyway after chatting with friends and family about the shambles’s this company has given us already we decided to get it done ourselves as we didn’t have any trust left in them now. We basically washed our hands of there poor service and attitude (I’m sure you’ll see there attitude in there reply to this review).
So to sum up this company they don’t have cars ready for booked in viewings, the salesmen don’t really do any selling just paperwork, there warranty’s are not worth the paper there printed on, they do t use genuine parts as we found out the brakes they replaced where not genuine items and they just want maximum profit with little work.

Sold me a £50,000 car in June 2021

Sold me a £50,000 car in June 2021. Today it’s been in 7/8 times for problems ranging from switches braking to exhaust system. It’s currently been in there for 9 weeks with yet another exhaust issue. I struggle to answer from them, I struggle to speak to anyone. I have currently rejected the vehicle and am seeking a refund. They’re not making it easy but they do have to accept it under the CRA. I am currently waiting for the general manager to get back to me with his decision. I have had nothing but poor service and been ignored since handing over £50,000 to them.

Hidden cancellation fees that are sky high!

Insured my bike with Devitts for 8 months and sold my bike as I’m giving up riding. Spoke to customer services how wanted another £95 to cancel my policy, they also hold card details on file and have told me they will take it off my card if I don’t pay. I had less than £80 left to pay, so would of been cheaper to let the policy run its course than cancel it. They offered no help or anyway of making this right. Avoid this company!!

Poor customer service hard to order

Poor customer service. Trying to navigate there website is hard, it has a strange layout and makes ordering and looking for parts hard. Once I finally found what I wanted to purchase, I went through to the payment stage which wasn’t approved. I called them and spoke to an employee called Brian who wasn’t very helpful. He told me my bank had declined the transaction. I called my bank and spoke with 2 people who both said it hadn’t been declined by the bank. I then replied to Brian at Camskills who said he had worked there for 17 years and told me it was definitely my bank and he had sent me proof. Needless to say I got know where with Brian and asked to speak to a manager, to which he replied there wasn’t one available.
I ended up paying via bank transfer. Eventually placed the order over an hour of trying. Let’s see what happens now. This review may change to a better rating if it’s smooth sailing from here until delivery. Very disappointed as I’ve heard they was good. Not this time they wasn’t.
Edited, went well after speaking to a manager!

Very poor delivery driver and manager…

Very poor delivery driver and manager from Argos.
Delivery booked for today, get a call from a foreign delivery driver to confirm delivery time. He asked is anyone isolating, I replied no. I then get a missed call from there customer service team. I called them back to be told the parcel won’t be delivered today because someone is isolating at the delivery address. Which is false! I then get nowhere with the customer service guy so ask to speak to a manager, which again I get nowhere with. It seems the delivery drivers are falsely marking delivery’s down as isolating to make there day easier, I’ve seen other reviews on Argos saying a similar thing. Terrible service from such a big company. Sort out these drivers ASAP before you loose all your customers.

Replying to Argos,
It’s been rebooked not by choice! I didn’t ask for it to be rebooked and I’ve not had verification it’s been rebooked. But in saying that I don’t expect anything less from this company.

Terrible online system.
Tried to place an order online, I wanted to use my nector points so added the amount I wanted to got to the add card section went to complete the purchase and it decided to remove my nector points and charge me full price for the item. When I went back to add the points again they wasn’t there. So in a nutshell Argos have taken my nector points and can’t do anything about it. Time to add these clowns to the growing avoid list for rubbish companies.
