Indirectly forcing for accepting long binding period.
My experience with Nets has been a complete disappointment.
In short: I had been using a Nets payment terminal, and in August 2024 I was contacted by a representative claiming that my existing terminal would soon stop working. Instead of a simple replacement, I was sent a completely new device — tied to a 36-month binding contract.
Later, I closed my business and my VAT number, but instead of receiving any understanding or assistance in closing the account, I was told — quite rudely — that I still had to pay for the entire contract period, regardless of my situation.
If you’re considering Nets for payment solutions, think twice. They use misleading wording like “your old terminal will soon be obsolete” to push upgrades that lock you into long and costly agreements. It’s no surprise their average rating is around 2 — and dropping.
