Extremely Disappointed

Extremely Disappointed – Major Safety Concern Ignored
If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm deeply disappointed with how my recent concern was handled. I reached out about what I believe to be a serious defect in the product — specifically, the enamel on the cup appears flawed and could pose a health risk if ingested. This isn’t a minor cosmetic issue — it’s a potential safety hazard that should warrant immediate attention, possibly even a recall.
Instead of acknowledging or investigating the problem, they responded by automatically initiating a return — putting the burden entirely on me, the customer. This might be acceptable in routine cases, but not when there's a legitimate safety concern involved.
To outline the problems with the return process:
They are requiring the product to be returned before any resolution, despite the safety risk it may pose.
While the return label is prepaid, I’m still expected to travel to a UPS drop-off location — which I cannot do, as I don’t have access to a vehicle.
They assume I have a printer to print the label. I do not — and arranging one would cost me additional time and money.
Most frustrating of all, the customer service has yet to show any real understanding or care about the core issue. I’ve received generic, robotic responses, with no indication that the potential defect is being investigated. The whole experience feels like an attempt to sweep a substandard product under the rug rather than taking responsibility.
This is far from the quality and service I expect from a brand that markets itself as "luxury." I sincerely hope they rethink how they handle serious product complaints — and how they treat their customers.

I’d give no stars if possible

I’d give no stars if possible. Like other people here I ordered shoes 30th Nov and they still haven’t been shipped. All I get is the automated response. Customer service clearly doesn’t exist at Steve Madden or they are extremely poorly paid! I will NEVER buy from this company again. I will also tell as many people as possible to avoid too!!

Super helpful

Super helpful. We didn’t know what fridge was best for us, so many to choose from. Staff member came over and walked us round explaining benefits of each, also highlighting what ones were on offer. Really friendly and helpful. Great experience.

Terrible customer service!!! Non existent!

First time I ordered received products within timeframe. This time it’s been over a week and no update. Emailed them 2 times now and no response. Rude and ignoring me! I will be actioning a chargeback. Don’t waste your money!!!

Terrible. SilkFred sent me the wrong item and they are holding my original order to ransom until I travel some distance to return the wrong item they sent me via the post office. I am a professional person and don’t have the time to fanny about working for SilkFred for nothing.

Absolutely useless company!!

Absolutely useless company!!! Goods arrived fine (late December) still haven’t got results. Emailed help twice and no reply! DO NOT USE!!!! Waste of money!!!!!

Unfortunately, the failure of registering your kit makes it impossible for our laboratory to identify and associate the order number to the testing kits provided. Without this information no results can be issued and delays may occur.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else for fitness equipment

Another great visit to Fitness Superstore. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for our fitness equipment. Lee helped us again and it was great that he remembered us. Makes the service feel more personal. This time purchased a spinning bike and again had no pressure to buy. Just left us to it and helped when we had questions. We needed it very quickly and the fast track delivery is perfect!! Thanks again Lee and Fitness Superstore. 2 very happy customers.

Fantastic service and very knowledgeable

Lee was super helpful. Left us to take our time and try out the machines. When we had questions he knew what he was talking about and gave us great advice. Very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. 5 star service!! Will be buying from here again.
