I have used this site for many years. Disappointed this time because they only have about two "grandpa" birthday cards to choose from. I found this a bit of a let down. Can you please put more of these on your website.

Churchill View, Landmark Road, Salcombe. This looks a lovely property but the owners don't maintain it. Two of the three (downstairs and upstairs double) bedrooms were damp and mouldy on outer wall and windows this included black mould which had also transferred onto the lampshade plugs. The bedrooms smelt of damp also. Black mould on upper window of living room. Garden not secure for dogs because of gaps. Refused to stay at property because of black mould and damp. Toad Hall arranged another property, Spindrift which we were very pleased with. Thank you to Billy for the time and effort he made to find me another bungalow. The owner of Churchill View needs to listen to customers and actually sort out the mould and damp. I've asked Toad Hall to actually visit the property before it is let out again. Black mould and damp is not a acceptable for a property which cost £1400 a week to let. Seascape and Spindrift were much better because the owners maintain damp and mould. Owner of Churchill View needs to do the same and give their customers a better experience. Toad Hall should take properties which customers have complained about because they have damp and black mould off their website.
In the nursery there are a huge range of plants and staff are very knowledgeable should you have any questions. There are a wide range of plants. However there has been a change to the restaurant. You can't see what is being cooked any more because a huge lots of boarding has been placed in front of the hot food area. It was nice to be able to view the food to help you decide what to choose, you can no longer do this. It seems very impersonal doing this. The only thing on view are the cakes. The chips I would not have again because they seem very over cooked. The homemade soups are satisfactory.
The system is awful. Firstly, it books a load of lessons which you have not asked for. Secondly, it is not flexible. For example for a Monday I had originally booked an RS tutor for a particular time. However, this didn't fit in with my timetable. I wanted to book instead a maths tutor for the same time on a Monday for the following week, changing the RS tutor to same time BUT A DIFFERENT day of the week. It kept saying there was a clash even though I had cancelled the lessons for RS so I could book the maths tutor for the following Monday. Update - 13th March - The RS lesson booked for 3rd March did not take place because of technical errors - not being able to access the learning platform. I have been charged for this. Still awaiting refund. Looks like I will have to write a letter to the Managing Director requesting this refund. Other online learning sites don't have their systems set up where the system automatically books loads of lessons going months ahead including August. Thank you for your response. I have emailed that address several times and I am still awaiting a refund because the learning platform was not working on 3rd March therefore lesson did not take place. UPDATE: 28/03/25 I have received £25 refund for the lesson which did not take place due to platform not working.

Broadway Plaza Birmingham. Booked a carers respite weekend was looking forward to it. However did not stay because of dirty bed linen. Large stains on undersheets and mattress, sheets stained, floor stained and dirty. Was given an alternative room but bedlinen/mattress dirty with stains. Ended up staying on friends settee. Asked for refund there and then and went back in the next day but no refund given. I have written to Martin Robinson, Company Director and sent him the pictures asking for a refund. I have not heard from him. Very disappointed. Management at the Plaza very unhelpful and refused a refund. Awaiting refund from Martin Robinson, I am in the process of sending him a second letter because I have not heard from him about my refund. Thank you I have received a refund but no acknowledgement of problems. I think the Manging Directors need to visit this hotel and sort out the cleanliness of the rooms and the bedding. Management at the hotel should listen to customers complaints and act on them instead of being unhelpful and uncooperative. I only received a refund when I wrote to Head Office. It is a shame because the design and location of the hotel is nice.
Compared to some other sites, I found this site the easiest and most user friendly. Questions clear to understand. It was very easy to go directly to an insurance provider to check documents etc, save quote.
Go elsewhere. Customer services and accounts do not communicate with each other if:- a) your bill is wrong b) you want to cancel your account c) customer services is very poor they don't listen to you and make it difficult to cancel an account. Even writing to the directors, they have still not managed to cancel my account. Thanks for your response did all that you suggested to cancel account but did not work.

I only received a part order for some squared notebooks. Was promised the missing part of order would be delivered, this has not happened. Because of long wait had to order books elsewhere. I did receive a refund from them so thanks for this.
Guiltbrook Store - I have recently purchased a lot of furniture from this store. A family member during the last visit had purchased some pre-packaged laminate from the reduced section but had changed their mind about it. I returned the laminate today explaining that I did not have a receipt but showed the invoices for the items I had recently purchased. Manager made rude comments about the returned laminate - this was how you sold it and you charged £20 for it, shop assistant was rude also. I felt humiliated by the service I received. I left the laminate with them. If you don't accept returns in the reduced area then you should clearly label this on each product. Bought some flat pack wardrobes and drawers. Very flimsy not robust will not buy again from here
I received an excellent service from Ron Brooks, Ilkeston when purchasing a second hand car. Car a competitive price, well valeted, in excellent condition and salesperson - Garrie was very helpful and answered all queries and kept in touch with me from enquiries, test drives to after sales. Additional services were promoted but no pressure at all to purchase them.
I received a great service today when requesting a new SIMM card. I can always speak to an operator and they are always helpful.

Went in to buy a car at Cannock branch, previously have bought 3 cars from them (Sutton-in Ashfield).
The part-exchange deal was extremely poor. Three competitors offered me the money I wanted for my old car, wasn't asking the earth. I purchased a car from competitor. Very disappointed. Not willing to negotiate when the price of second hand cars has increased. The member of staff did not seem to know much about the car and gave me incorrect information about Toyota warranty. As long as the services are maintained at a Toyota dealers then Toyota offer extended warranties up to 100,000 miles.
Unfortunately this company now provides a very poor customer service; difficult to talk to anyone/get matters resolved. Not listened to, contract/bills inaccurate, frustrating not being able to sort these things out.

a) Chest of drawers - huge split at top - left to right delivery guys left it outside b) Delivery guys unwilling to take wardrobe upstairs - it stayed in the delivery van! These guys need training - if removals people can take wardrobes upstairs - why can't your delivery guys?. Other companies who make hand built furniture design it so that it is in two pieces to accommodate stairs. c) Only thing delivered was bed - I am very disappointed with the build, quality and finish of it. Contacted store at Derby - were not interested said to sort out with "online customer service". If they were interested they could have offered us furniture from the shop - instead of having to place another order and wait a long time for outstanding furniture to be delivered. d) The call centre is very poor - you wait ages on the phone for someone to deal with you "we are experiencing a high number of calls..." They say they have refunded the money - but refund has NOT happened yet. I phoned a second time - money not refunded. What have can you learn from this? Go somewhere where you can physically purchase furniture there and then. Went to IKEA, yes flatpack but at least the items are in stock there and then; not the case with this company. If your furniture has arrived damaged they offer to repair it, you have to go back on the waiting list to get an alternative which is not feasible when you have removed all the other bedroom furniture. No customer service here, very disappointed.

Part way through lesson instructor took control of car and picked up a family member. Booked for another instructor but without any warning he cancelled without any contact or reason. Call handlers difficult to get hold of, but they do listen and try to give a good service.

I purchased GCSE mathematics for my daughter. The staff are very helpful about any queries you have, the service good. However on receiving this package it was mainly PDF's which did not suit daughter's learning being dyslexic. Blended learning would be great, mixture of videos, interactive questions etc. I was worried I would not get a refund, but this wasn't a problem, customer service acknowledged my concern and arranged for a refund.

Joseph Wright A levels - poor experience. If you have your GCSEs apart from either maths or English Derby won't give you the chance to do A levels considering the stressful time students have had with Covid, they make no allowance for mitigating circumstances. Other colleges ,Bilborough have given people a chance this year, they understand the impact that Covid has had on students learning, their health and well-being, Derby do not appear to get this and this year would not allow students to do A levels without both maths and English. T levels not good this year, could only offer GCSE retakes.
High Pavement Sixth form college admissions review Very poor admissions criteria arrangements. This college allows no exceptions in access arrangements for prospective students who have recently lost a parent. Went to another college WHO UNDERSTOOD this so you lost out on business. I also feel that even if you have not lost a parent if you have a good set of GCSE results i.e. only not achieving maths or English, for A levels the college could offer students a place and get them to do a retake in maths or English. Other colleges actually look at the overall results and make better judgements. Disappointing.
Tried to make enquiries about bus transport for a learner on spectrum. staff very rude about this. When enquired again told we don't have to cater for prospective learners transport requirements because we don't have any competition. We have many parents from a large area who see no problem in driving their child to Broomfield. This was a main priority for me told not to enquire again about it. Bus route very restricted not equal access to all have to get a bus to Derby first then get their college bus from council houses this adds to expense . Other colleges offered a BETTER transport system so they have lost business.
Booked Tesco Bank Black Box car insurance for daughter using comparison site. Easy to set up and tailor to my needs, e.g. paid extra for breakdown insurance, process quick. There was a technical computer glitch, insurance papers were not on portal, but this was quickly sorted, including being sent a link to book installation of black box. Operator I phoned gave a great service, listened, reported he would upload insurance papers in addition to sending link to arrange for black box to be fitted. Operator advised slight delay with booking black box fitter, however informed would not be penalised if there was a delay. I like the fact that someone is at the end of the phone to speak to should I need it. Can't speak for car insurance because I personally have not used it, booked this car insurance for daughter having recently passed driving test so can't comment on service received in the event of a crash.
