Avoid avoid avoid

FedEx is a horrible service. Despite the fact, they have a guarantee, and failed to deliver my Back package on time. They refused to refund me what they owed me. I paid a premium for next day service and it’s still higher premium for next day morning service. They were more than a day late. I got numerous excuses from them. First, they told me the truck was late on pick up. That was a lie. Next they told me it was stuck in the local FedEx center. That turned out to be a lie also. Finally I found out it was at the central location at their main hub, but it had not been moved out to the destination hub. In each case they lied to me about the status. Then they refuse to give me a refund claiming a weather delay. There was no weather delay, and there’s nothing in the documentation to indicate there was a weather delay. So that was another lie. And the last life, of course is their guarantee. I checked their website and there was no indication of any weather delays at all that day. Fortunately, for me, I kept all this documentation and was able to file a dispute with my credit card and I got a full refund.

The big Takeaway to this is FedEx has no regard for their customers, and if they failed to deliver on time, they Welch on their promise to refund you the money.

I never use FedEx because I have nothing but bad experiences with them in the past. And this one in particular was my worst experience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This is the last place to go for a loan. I was quite clear that I wanted a HELOC on a paid off $1.7 Million rental property. I have no debt, high income, with multiple income streams. My credit rating is 830. The first place they recommended, wanted me to pay nearly 10 points for an 11% loan, over 20% interest, in a variable loan that was designed to screw me over. The next place took all my information only to tell me they do not do HELOC on rental property. Vigorous hand gestures to Lending Tree. They lie about what they can do, waste your time with company's that want to go beyond a haircut into scalping you financially. I used to think having a high credit rating meant something. The first time I apply for a loan in 20 years and everyone wants to screw me over. Vigorous hand gestures to Lending Tree. The offer made to me was what I would expect they would give to someone with no credit or a declared bankruptcy on file.

material is good, nightmare accessing it.

I think their material is good. The problem is it’s a major battle to access it. I spent days just trying to log on because they’re using another website to host. Their material and notices were coming through and going directly into my spam folder. And part that was my fault because I had a couple of spam filters built-in. Once I got rid of those, the email showed up, but still went to spam. In any event, it took me almost a week to sort that out and I wanted to be studying. What apparently my webpage timed out I had to login again and once again, it was confusing because there is there a Pilot Institute logon and then there is C Teachable Zio website , I thought I had registered the same username and password for both. I should not have even had to have two passwords and usernames. I’ll top of all that for some reason it’s not allowing my password organizer to insert that information automatically. I don’t know why it works for every other application or webpage I should say. Will next day have this flash card I had a minute seems pretty good OK so that was fine next to refer me to some videos? Well, I thought that’s what their course was. The videos were external they’re only accessible on Apple devices and you have to go to the teachable.io website again, and this time I had to fill out page after page of questionnaires about teaching ! Why I have no interest in teaching I just want to take the stupid course the bottom line is you will want to shoot yourself you’ll be so upset just trying to access a material for Pilot Institute. Whoever was in charge of marketing that screwed up. They took what was probably a pretty good program, and they try to offload , the hosting of it somewhere else and they botched it. It just made it too complicated. Nobody wants to have two logins. Nobody wants to have videos over here flashcards as an app and then a webpage that you can access sometimes and then a few days later it’s so complicated to logon you’re like screaming a girl like what happened I thought I had to sort it out. I gave up and decided to ask for my money back. I’ll start start over with somebody else, it’s just isn’t worth it using Pilot Institute. I wish it was because I think they got good material. It’s just said it’s too hard to get it, and into many places. PDF files you have to download with the FAA? Really you’re just gonna refer us over to somebody else? It’s all like that I think I could probably study for this on my own and I’d be much further along than I am right now dealing with the complexities of just logging on to more than one website, I try to decipher how to even find the material. I never did find the videos. I quit. I’m done. The Pilot Institute is like medieval torture. You need to avoid at all costs.

A complete waste of time

A complete waste of time. I’m glad I used my junk email address because I have been hammered with spam.

Here is what you get. Outrageous rates. $80/hour for guitar lessons? Not worth it given the slow process in learning. This is not like sailing lessons where you get a huge benefit and rapid learning curve from lessons. Guitar study takes years. Lesson need to be affordable. Like $10-15 an hour given the effort for instruction is minimal. Next the rates don’t change. Book ten lessons? Well it’s ten times the hourly rate with no discount. No one in the real world does that. Paying in advance for a block of time is always offered with a discount. No so here. Gestures to these people. Plus there is a fee on top. $24 for the website? I don’t know. But I do know that the rates are ridiculous and what you learn on that time is negligible for the price. I have to wonder how much goes to the instructors. This is a failed .com website model. Do. It support it. I’ll stick to YouTube and free lessons and I bet I’ll learn more faster and take huge satisfaction that I’m not giving my money to someone who has an over inflated value for their services, or a company that gouges. Once again vigorous hand features to this company.

These people are incompetent. You will pull your hair out in frustration.

These people cannot provide any customer support. I wanted to lock in long term rates and they prevented me from doing that. I am told they triple their prices after one year.

Worse I was blocked from logging onto my website and they did not have my email on file. So my simple email did not work, and my email was not working either. I was dumbfounded. I checked my receipt and my email was spelled correctly and LISTED ON THE RECEIPT.

THen some douche wanted all my private information, way more than needed to reset my account. There is no way I'm giving out my phone number from some Indian to scam me. These customer service agents, don't even understand how the proces work It was quite clearly on their own website that my issue was related to unlocking the IP on their end. The person I talked to who could not solve my problem was Prabaharan A. I hope they fire him.

I do not recommend ever considering this company. It is bizarre that they can't make this work. I read on their own website that in the case of my situation they needed to reset the IP. They refused to do that.

If you want to have stroke talking to a wall with long long delays before getting a response, and people asking questions you already answered, sign up with this worthless company.

They won't cancel my account now, so I will have to dispute this with my credit card company.
