FedEx is a horrible service. Despite the fact, they have a guarantee, and failed to deliver my Back package on time. They refused to refund me what they owed me. I paid a premium for next day service and it’s still higher premium for next day morning service. They were more than a day late. I got numerous excuses from them. First, they told me the truck was late on pick up. That was a lie. Next they told me it was stuck in the local FedEx center. That turned out to be a lie also. Finally I found out it was at the central location at their main hub, but it had not been moved out to the destination hub. In each case they lied to me about the status. Then they refuse to give me a refund claiming a weather delay. There was no weather delay, and there’s nothing in the documentation to indicate there was a weather delay. So that was another lie. And the last life, of course is their guarantee. I checked their website and there was no indication of any weather delays at all that day. Fortunately, for me, I kept all this documentation and was able to file a dispute with my credit card and I got a full refund.
The big Takeaway to this is FedEx has no regard for their customers, and if they failed to deliver on time, they Welch on their promise to refund you the money.
I never use FedEx because I have nothing but bad experiences with them in the past. And this one in particular was my worst experience.
