I keep getting unsolicited mail from…

I keep getting unsolicited mail from these people with " to the conservatory owner".
I have tried very hard to reduce mail to the bare minimum as we spend a lot of time away, and nothing says being away, more than mail sticking out of your letter box.
I have phoned them twice and asked to be removed from their mailing list, I have contacted the mail preference service without success.
Perhaps a Solicitors letter will do the trick.
In case of any doubt, I DO NOT HAVE A CONSERVATORY AND NEITHER DO I NEED ONE!!!!

Be warned before entering into a contract with these people!

So even after spending 27 mins waiting on the phone to cancel my account, today I receive an email stating
" If you'd still like us to manage your prescriptions for you, just use the button below."
And to top it off at the bottom of the email when you usually hit the unsubscribe button.....
"Please note you are not able to unsubscribe from Service Emails we will need to send you communications from time to time about your orders and important messages about our service"
So I guess I cant actually get rid of their "service" ever!!!!

Well

Well, what can I say. 12 years we have watching the NHL but this year it's been transfered to a company called DAZN ?
So we have an email saying we can watch the season for £99 but cant actually log in and watch any of the pre season games. So can we sort out the problem....er NO.
Are we going to pay £99 for a " possible season" when it starts? From all the feedback I have seen ......it's a Trump season...ie, watch something else on some other "working" channel.

Thank you for the reply. Nearly another day waiting for some sort of action. beginning to think my original thoughts were right.

Now dont get me wrong

Now dont get me wrong, most of the problems I have of getting my regular medication is with the surgery, BUT! What muppet thought it would be a good idea to send out the regular reminder email with hyperlink in a very reduced white colour on a very bright green background making it totally illegible? We of the older generation have failing eyesight and are constantly being told to be carefull what we click on and accept 🤔 Well?

Thank you for your reply. So I have to change MY phone settings to see YOUR email? you can shove your service where ever feels comfortable for you and your company.

Con artists

My rather expensive Canon printer ran out of ink and then told me the re order setup I thought I had arranged doesn't work in the UK. So I ordered from cartridge people. After a few minutes I received a phone call asking why I didn't want the 2 packs for only an extra £27 pounds. Only he never said they were their own inks and not genuine, so imagine my anger at being conned. As we all know the warranty would be invalidated if I then used a non genuine ink. So now I cant finish my printing project, I am £160 pounds down, and stuck with something I didn't know I was being sold. NOT HAPPY!!!

So I made a purchase through Amazon

So I made a purchase through Amazon, but it was with one of their "suppliers". well all appeared well at first, tracking info from Post Office, a delivery date, etc
The first date came and went, so did the second. A webchat advisor said they would contact the supplier and came back saying it was on route.
Now this is where it gets more murky. By looking at other revues it was evident that the supplier was not sending out anything. Still Amazon kept quiet about this state of affairs. I made another webchat and this time I was cc into the email sent to the supplier. No response of course. Amazon still did not inform me of any problem but quietly took down the suppliers storefront. Today I had a rather tedious conversation with an advisor and then the supervisor who denied all knowledge of the Suppliers situation. If I was more legally genned up I would like to know if Amazon were complicit in the fraud of the supplier. Anyway avoid any supplier not directly from Amazon itself .....and even then

Why is it this company think it's OK to…

Why is it this company think it's OK to send out unsolicited mail to my address?
We try hard to reduce mail stuffed into our mail box.
No thought is given to the problems it causes to the recipient, just as long as it creates the occasional lead.
NOT IMPRESSED!!!

In reply to your reply, the fact that you don't know me from my email address proves you are just indiscriminately mailing people. I am in the process of checking to even see if this is even legal.

And this from the UK Government website :

You must check if customers want to be contacted by fax, phone, post or email, and give them the chance to object. You must be able to prove you’ve done this.

So as you didn't ask first, you are in breach!!!!

When you order a micro Sd card and the…

When you order a micro Sd card and the size is stated at 256g you expect a card close to the stated amount, In fact it says 256g on the card.
We all know that know that there is a small amount used for internal issues, but when you order a card saying 256G you do not expect it to be 128g and even that not be able to be formatted!
A total SCAM!!!
SHOP ELSE WHERE!!!! you have been warned!!!!

I purchased a Panasonic G9M2 but had a…

I purchased a Panasonic G9M2 but had a problem with the shutter button after very little use. David arranged for it to be repaired but this was not possible. David arranged for it to exchanged. I have since made another purchase from Cotswold cameras so consider them true to their word for their warranty. As an aside, others now trade in "grey imports" but no mention of a warranty though.

Its great when it works, when it stops working,....well you can spend ages, re installing it, sending them reasons why it stopped working,...you don't get a response.
unless you really need a VPN then don't bother, save your money, they may have the most servers, in the most countries, but if it stops you actually getting a internet connection..........

Post Office system failure, yes, another one@

I received notification of a delivery which was to be attempted whilst I was away from home. I looked at the options available and chose the " deliver to post office" to be collected at a later date. Confident in that I had diverted my parcel I was more than a bit annoyed ( read, exasperated) to receive an email stating that my parcel had been delivered to my address and left outside. knowing our postman to be a caring chap, we realised it was a system failure not of his making, but we then had to arrange collection by a family member from afar to collect our parcel. With the post office in the news on an almost daily basis, have they no systems at all that actually work?

A parcel was delivered to our porch…

A parcel was delivered to our porch yesterday but it is not for us, not even our road, not even our estate, are you getting the picture. so trying to get to talk to someone about a wrong delivered parcel is impossible. the web chat is useless as a wrong delivered parcel is not "an option" and phone option will not accept the parcel reference "as its been delivered!!!!!!! If I dont get a response from this, in the bin it goes!!!

In reply, the husband of the person who ordered the parcel couldn't get ANY HELP from you either, but by a brilliant bit of detective work found it was delivered to us and just collected it, no thanks to your totally impersonal "customer service"

So I get an email from DX saying my delivery would be today at between 1410 and 1610........and nothing! no delivery. So went back to the email and went into the tracking section and it states,
Your redelivery has been booked for your chosen date!
well that news to me!!!! "MY" chosen date????
How many days am I expected to stay in for ? and you just change the date as you want? NOT HAPPY!

i dont know what is going wrong with Nord but most times I canot connect, or it will take me to the login screen, and then sit there until I get fed up and shut it down. Now everyone says we should all use…

Now everyone says we should all use local businesses. Well I tried, nobody was interested in a mobile installation, one company didn't even return my message.
So I researched AVR mobiles. Their trust pilot score is exemplary.
And with good reason.
Terry turned up earlier than hoped for ( we had a funeral to attend later in the day) and installed the dash cams speedily and tidily.
Having worked in industry for nearly 50 years, and had to go behind subcontracted Labour who could not give a light about the standard of their work, it's obvious when a company do not employ "subbies" and use employed staff.
Clean,tidy, and efficient, that's what you get here.

Installed today

Installed today. Well so far, so good. I thought it might not happen when the installation engineers didn't want to bring the cable in where I wanted it brought in. There seems to be this "thing" that the cable can just hang down the front of your house like a washing line and you the customer, have to like it. Its like employing a painter and them saying "sorry, I dont like that colour so I am painting it this colour".
Back to the subject, the speed is dam fast, and less than half the price of BT. Over 900m down and 900m Up!
