If I could leave them zero stars I would.
We had a meal which took an hour to arrive. It wasn’t anything fancy, just fish and chips. It was cold, greasy, with raw inside batter and inedible. We were offered a replacement but it would have been another hour to wait so we declined. We were told by the takeaway to contact just eat which we did. They gave us less than half our money back in “account credit” and said this was in line with their policy despite being sent photo and video evidence. This is theft, they have taken our money for a product which was not fit for consumption and have refused to refund us.
Congratulations just eat, for your abysmal customer service and care you will lose out on a regular income from us. We will no longer use this service and highly encourage others to avoid.
Edit - a representative responded to our complaint of their verdict by saying that they were not able to overturn the original result.
Edit - we responded to this with a quite frankly scathing email, we got a response basically telling us that after reviewing the evidence, we have to appreaciate that not all restaurants and takeaways prepare dishes the same way.…
This is after we have told them repeatedly the food was cold and not cooked through correctly. 🤦♂️
