Trustpilot has three times arbitrarily removed my perfectly proper review without valid reason or explanation in response to my requests. In fact, Trustpilot falsely posted that my favorable four star review was reported as inappropriate by the company I reviewed when, actually, the removal was solely Trustpilot's action for an alleged violation of some undisclosed Trustpilot guideline. On February 22, after sending four e-mails over a three week period and providing evidence I was a legitimate customer, Trustpilot restored the review only to delete it again within hours. Again, no explanation or reason for their peculiar action was given other than a vague, form reference to some alleged violation of some undisclosed guideline.

Hi Don,
Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear your review may have been picked up by our fraud detection software. No system is perfect, but computers tend to be more accurate than the average person at spotting fake reviews. That's why we combine customized software with an international team of dedicated analysts, investigators and agents who work with reviews every day. If you believe there has been a mistake, feel free to contact our Content Integrity Team at compliance@trustpilot.com.
We've tested with other companies and found Living DNA to be the best for those of us with mostly UK ancestry, but not so good for others or those looking for a lot of relatives who match. It appears that Living DNA does not have a data base that is large enough or diverse enough to meet its ambitious promises.
If it is going to achieve a broader data base, it needs to become more aggressive in getting uploads of raw data from tests with other companies and more competitive in the cost of upgrading them.
Poor software arbitrarily deleted one of my favorable, four star reviews.

Hi Don,
Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry to hear your review may have been detected by Trustpilot. It could be that your review has been detected by our fraud detection software and was unable to be verified. I understand this can be frustrating and I hope I can help explain how this has happened.
As Trustpilot is an open review community, meaning anyone can leave a review on Trustpilot without an invite, we need to have systems in place to allow us to detect potentially fake review. To help with this, we developed a fraud detection software to run on Trustpilot. This unique software runs independently, 24/7 across our platform, examining a large range of different behavioral parameters - such as, for example, IP addresses. The system then uses an algorithm to calculate the likelihood that reviews are fake. This is represented by a ‘fake score’. If the score for an individual review is very high, our software will automatically move the review offline and send an email message to notify the reviewer. You can read more about our tool here https://support.trustpilot.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000711088-How-does-our-fraud-detection-software-work-
This email will give you the opportunity to contact our compliance team and provide verification that your review is genuine. We will of course reinstate the review if the compliance team find the review to be compliant and genuine. This software is usually very accurate at detecting fake, but occasionally a genuine one will be picked up. I am sorry if this happened to you and I hope you will reach out to compliance with proof to verify your review.
