AVOID

UPDATE: I contacted the company via WhatsApp and received a very quick response and an update on my order. It was easy to explain the issue, and they offered me the choice of a refund or a replacement. The replacement arrived today.

Although it was delayed by two days (and yes, I’m being picky here), their professionalism stood out. Overall, I’m impressed and will definitely return as a customer in the future.


I placed my order on Saturday, and the shipping label was printed on Sunday, but there has been no movement since then. Now it's Tuesday, and I still haven't received any updates. I tried calling, but my call couldn’t be transferred, so I wasn’t able to speak with anyone. I also opened a support ticket, but it seems like it will take 2–3 days to get a response. All I wanted was the 48-hour delivery that was advertised on the website. Unfortunately, this experience has been frustrating, and I will not be purchasing from this company again on any platform.

Overall ok

Overall, the items were good, except for some slate. It was extremely rusty and honestly looked like something I could have broken off from my garden pavement. I reached out to the company regarding this issue, but after 4 days, I still haven't received a response to my ticket.

Very impressed

Very impressed. All items were delivered frozen. I didn't taste the meat yet... but I am confident I will return. I already saw a few things that I want to try.
From order to delivery everything was spot on. Only minus was having the emails on the junk folder.

A lady turned up at my door today to…

A lady turned up at my door today to read my gas meter. I end up denying her to come in or have a reading because I have smart meter anyway and I was not informed prior to this of anything. I then contacted my provider and they had nothing skeduled or requested for my address. I was advised not to give any information to 3rd party.
However, the name they had on their hand device was wrong for my house. From what I can understand its the information from an old data base... but it's worrying... anyone can request a reading out of the blue?

I’m disappointed with this company

I’m disappointed with this company. My order was incomplete, and despite being assured that a refund was in progress after I called, I’ve yet to see the money 10 days later. I was charged £9 for postage, which would have been acceptable had my entire order been delivered. However, I ended up paying more than if I had sourced my boxes from a different company. To add insult to injury, the boxes seemed to have been stored in a high-humidity environment, resulting in poor quality.

a bit slow on some deliveries

a bit slow on some deliveries, but they do arrive. the answer time is 7-14 days for emails... it's not as we are used to, but there is always an answer. that being said, great packaging and never had issues with damaged products.

I always had positive experiences

I always had positive experiences. there is a delay, but it is to be expected. I see a lot of negative feedback... and it's sad really. I was nervous because of them with my orders, but I always got an answer-back, although it was 5-7 days after my inquest.
Stylevana modified my order with in-stock items on my request, informed me of delays, and cancel when it was needed.
I did have deliveries after 30 days... but I expect that and I plan accordingly.

no deliveries!

In 2 days’ time is a full month since my order. Great products that are useless when they don’t arrive. what’s the point? and... short shelf life I understand ... so let’s pretend its 3 months left when purchased... well, they have 2 left now!

EDIT: got my refund today. was easy to have it sorted out. No order was dispatched after 1 month.
I really have mixed feelings about this. Terrible experience. Please learn from mistakes… we love a bargain … but we also have to receive the order. Have a seasonal personal increase when is the case. I don’t know… You have Lord Sugar’s brain there… use it.

Ordered well in advance to have the items in time for school and guess what? Still nothing ... After 2 months... But I do get emails asking me to put an order in. Now I truly believe this is all a scam. I will be reporting to trading standards. There is no way this is NR 1 in UK for uniforms....
I have mailed them 3 days ago to issue a refund and still no answer.
Absolutely disgusting!
Now I really do not have cardigans for sept 5! My girl is grown and the ones from last year don't fit her anymore.

Long disptach time, separate postage for friends of joules. Too much hassle

First experience purchasing from them didn't go great.
First of all friends of joules have postage separate... that I had to pay extra for, and my parcel is stuck somewhere since Thursday, didn't move...
I know the company can't do much with pacels in transit... But at least can use more reliable delivery services and disptach in a reasonable time... Not after a few days.
Meantime, the delivery from joules didn't arrive either. I have ordered from several sites after my joules order and all were delivered. H&m, m&m direct, frugi.
I will definitely not come back.

Ok. I will use again in the future.

As a first experience was great! I loved how everything was sorted and I just had to cook. There are a few things that could be better: the cabbage I had went bad in 2 days... It's black. Was supposed to last 5 days... and the chicken meat for the coronation chicken was too hard.
You have to check the calories for each meal. Most of them are very high... And very few choices for low calories.
I will buy more if I see decent recipes.

EDIT. as a reply to your long answer... I noticed there is the same info you give to each negative review... I can see how I am not the only one complaining about the ingredients. I won't be coming back.

It’s such a shame you received low quality ingredients, this is simply unacceptable and we apologise. As a company, this is never our intention and we can assure you this is not the norm. We work extremely hard with our suppliers and couriers to ensure all our produce is as fresh as possible when it is delivered to your door. This includes keeping the protein and dairy products wrapped in ice packs during transit and storing ingredients in our temperature-controlled facility before sending them out.

Unfortunately, ingredients do go out of date and towards the end of the week that is more of a risk. We do always aim to provide long-lasting ingredients but with items like fish, for example, there would be shorter expiry dates on these due to the nature of the product. We would advise arranging meals in a way that uses anything with a shorter expiry date first.

It’s imperative for us to get as much information about the poor quality cabbage and the chicken so we can feed this back to our Product team here. Then they can bring this up directly with our supplier and make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Finally, our Recipe Development team is in charge of planning and curating our menus. They are always working on ways to improve the menus and recipes, and really appreciate customer feedback. You can leave a comment alongside your recipe rating on the app or website in regards to changes you think may benefit a dish you've tried. This comment goes directly to our chefs who can then take it into consideration and perhaps implement some of your ideas in the future.
