Buy offshore...

Google. I LoVE Google.. Well, not so much anymore.

I tried to set up a Workspace account because Bluehost, a webhost I mistakenly moved to February 28, almost three months ago, can't figure out how to set up email.

Well, much to my shock and awe, (Gawd I wish I was kidding..), Google Workspace tech support is OFFSHORE, and via email.

So, they email, tell you someone's going to call on the phone between such and such time, and they don't.

Then, almost a week later, they send another email.

Email. What is the big problem all these corporate "technical wizards" have with setting up email?

And, Google.. Only OFFSHORE email support, and it's barely there? Seriously?

And, how about America. (I'll see if I can post a review for America next.) All this, "BUY AMERICAN!" crap. (All caps courtesy of The Liar in Chief.)

"BUY 🇺🇸 AMERICAN!" But! Tech support? ALL OFFSHORE.

Pay Americans a wage they can live on to answer the phone? "What?! Are you kidding? That's costs money! We can't have that..."

You can't make this sh*t up.

We're living in.. The Twilight Zone. Soon to be a banana republic.

Offshore bandits

These guys are clueless about classes or categories. Even if you already have everything classed and categorized they will erase them and throw everything into chaos.

I am to this day still reaping the effects of what they did to my 2023 accounting with the IRS.

If you have a roadside business, like selling kool-aid perhaps, they might be able to handle it.

Their Knoxville, Tennessee address is also fraudulent. Your initial contact will be with an American, which is deceptive. That's your first clue. They're based in India, and they're as fluent in English as they are in QuickBooks. Each session is a challenge. And you're bounced from one quasi-bookkeeper to another.

It's suspicious how they have so many 5 star reviews. I guess there are more kool-aid stands in America than I realized.

Because of this one expensive experience I am no longer able to rely on Trust Pilot reviews when shopping for help for my business, though I will continue to read and write reviews. I can no longer shop here.

Five star reviews are cheap to write. And I've found that when I write a negative business review the business immediately floods the platform with five star reviews to drown the truth.

Review of Samsung

Fraudulent

This corrupt organization sells a service called Samsung Care. Samsung Care charges $10/month for literally nothing. They have no tech support. What they call "support", a bot, tells you they will do nothing until the Samsung phone warranty expires (two years). "You need to call Samsung." Samsung sends you to Samsung Care, and you're now locked in a circle-jerk.
Samsung Care is "sorry, but you need to call Samsung. But yet they charge ten dollars each month for the two years, that's $2400, twice the cost of the phone. This is blatant consumer fraud.

Today I am filing a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General, and the US Attorney General, and the Federal Trade Commission against Samsung.
I'm also filing one to each for Samsung Care.

I believe this is a criminal conspiracy, but I am sure the US Attorney General, and the Arizona State Attorney General, and the Federal Trade Commission will agree. We will see.

I get nowhere with these guys

I get nowhere with these guys. I would not recommend.
Support hands me off to another agent, who hands me off to another agent, who hands me off to another agent, who... Yeah, like that. Been like this since I signed with them on February 27. Big mistake. Godaddy, Hostgator, or Namecheap. Not Bluehost.
Meanwhile, they try to upsell me, while I can't get what I already paid them for to work correctly.
My company had been with our previous host for thirty years (!), and we never had these sorts of problems.

All those folks whinin' about YouTube

All those folks whinin' about YouTube, YouTube is fabulous, for $12/month. If you don't have $12/month it might make you mad, but for $12/month, I love it. The whiney ones I read are from folks who can't string words together anyway, they're illiterate, and that's really why they're pissed off, they can't scratch $12 together in a month. That's a social disease. I feel sorry for 'em, 'wish I could help 'em, but I can't. But I LoVE YouTube!

Review of One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If you don't want one star performance don't call One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Prescott

This company won't perform and has no integrity. After posting this review, their response was the same yada yada they spew at all of their negative reviews, they probably don't even read them. But the facts remain. They don't fulfill their promises. They're unprofessional. They do shoddy diagnoses, upsell, and have no ethics. And, to top it off, in response to negative reviews, they say to call them, but, they blocked my calls, and I don't want to yell from here to Prescott. There's a right way and a wrong way to handle legitimate complaints, they didn't learn the right way, and they perfected the wrong way, they ignore you.

We had two service calls from One Hour Heating and Cooling/Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to two different properties. We paid on the spot.

Their HVAC tech appraised one of those units "dead", it had multiple issues, and, "no freon and they don't make it anymore," and the unit had to be replaced, "Someone will call you to give you a price for that".

I never did get that call. Days went by, I got no call from anyone. Our home warranty people sent a tech who replaced the compressor motor and the unit started cooling immediately, the tech said the refrigerant is fine.

I wanted an invoice for each of those calls, as is common business practice. I have received one. I still need the second one. It's been "coming" for 2 weeks.

I also wanted the 5-year warranty for the extra expensive capacitor the agent promised upon taking payment. I had to chase One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Prescott for that.

Then I scheduled an appointment with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, same syndicate, and got a 1-5pm window, "They will call when they're on the way".

We had to have someone on hand to meet their tech, I suppose they're not bonded and insured.

I got a recorded call requesting I call and confirm that appointment the day of the appointment. Which I did.

At 4:40pm, three hours and forty minutes into waiting for the promised call from the promised tech, I called to get an estimated time of arrival and got a recording that said my number was blocked. What?

So I called from my wife's phone, and the agent answering said, "Hmm, I don't know, let me see, this looks strange. May I put you on hold for a minute?"

He comes back after several minutes, and tells me my account is "bugged". Bugged? What do you mean? "It's hard to explain. A supervisor will reach out to you tomorrow." They never did.

I don't think it's a leap to judge that One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Prescott could not accept being asked to perform as promised and as paid for. To provide invoices, and to competently diagnose HVAC equipment. So, they simply blocked my calls. They did not cancel the appointment. They did not tell us. They left us waiting for the tech for 4 hours. And they blocked my calls. All I was asking for was what Benjamin Franklin Plumbing/ One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Prescott promises for their fee.

Seriously, blocking my calls? They could have simply said, "We won't perform as promised, and we won't be showing up for the appointment, because you confronted us on our lack of performance." I only asked them to comply with their stated code of ethics. And they just stood us up. That's truly awful business practice. Not to mention their diagnostics.

These clowns are not ethical. I'd go somewhere else. Also, check out their one-star reviews on Google. Ignore the 5-star reviews. If you don't want one-star service, don't call One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Prescott.

Review of Ledbetterlawaz

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Ledbetter personifies the public opinion of attorneys

Ledbetter personifies the public reputation of lawyers. I got a bill from these guys I didn't understand, (I know, what should I expect, but,), so, I asked them to explain, as, I had not received any service. And they explained, basically, "we charge what we can, because we can, and that's your bill." So I just sucked it up and paid it.

But then, (and this is why people joke about attorneys), I got another bill, for the email they sent to me, explaining their invoice. Charges: 20 minutes of the bookkeepers time, 12 minutes, $45.00.

When we met, Tosca Henry told me the initial consultation was " "free" ". She emphasized that and Explained it. (Liar liar pants on fire...)

I told her one of the things I needed from the "free initial consultation" was clarification as to how Ledbetter invoiced, and her only clarification was "you'll probably be surprised at how affordable our services are".

Uh huh. Well, I thought, the intro is "free", so let's see how it goes.

I had two contracts I wanted reviewed. In the first session, the *free introductory session*, (where two meet and greet and see if there's 'a fit'), her *professional legal opinion*, (to be clear: what I would be paying for), was that one contract needed modification, and the other was fine. Then, in the only brief and worthless phone conversation we had, she switched it. (!) (?) Now the other was, "so minimal, it wouldn't be worth the money," (thank you, Sister!)

But now the other, which at first "free initial meet/greet consultation" visit was fine, was all of a sudden worth investing her time in, (read: lots of my money). (?)

Tosca, I'm confused; I know she thought so. But I did not yet know that we were *done*, and I figured we'd discuss her *professional change of opinion* further, later, but...

Tosca then told me I'd need to provide my documents to her in a "formattable version" for her to work with, "and I don't know how to do that."

(Did she just say that?)

You need to do this before I can do anything for you, "and I don't know how to do that."Really? Ledbetter Law Firm doesn't know how to use Adobe Acrobat? At the time I didn't either but it took literally a minute, max, I just had to open Adobe and look.

So I tell her I'll figure it out as I have the time. It's probably on YouTube, Ledbetter Law could easily invoice people to have their bookkeeper watch YouTube to figure out how to expedite matters. And I intended to figure this out for Ledbetter Law, so they could help me, but this was not a priority for me, I was just looking for a *good* attorney, this was really a trial for me, and so I told Tosca I would get back to her when I figured it out. (As it turns out, converting scans to "formattable versions" is a 'no brainer' feature in Adobe Acrobat.)

But then, (!), (?), I got a bill from Ledbetter Law for $405.00. Huh? So, I called to find out what it was for. We'd had one 'free intro', and one brief/ meaningless phone conversation, in which Tosca completely contradicted herself, not 'just a little', and she'd said she needed something from me before she could provide something for me.

So $405 for what?

I don't think it's uncommon for businesses to be asked to explain an invoice, but for them to charge the customer, or client, $45.00, to explain that invoice? This is what earns attorneys their reputations.

I'm only grateful I didn't really need one, that was the wrong tree.

Nice facade, though.

(Cute: Immediately after my review posted Ledbetter rounded up their 4 best friends to publish positive though empty reviews. It takes a lot to offset a bad review. "If the shoe fits, you must not acquit.")

Review of eFax

Liar liar pants on fire.

Their outsourced tech support doesn't speak English. They have unexplained report discrepancies. They charged me overage fees when I'd only made 3 faxes in 6 months, (later refunded when I called 'em on it). Their response time is very slow. There's better available for less and with no contracts.
Their response to this review was more BS.
The tech support I got was NOT in Canada, it was a third world country, they could not speak or understand English.
They charged me $10 overage when I have a contract for 130 faxes and only made 3 faxes in the entire first 6 months of 2020. They said this was due to "transmission time". From email: "The extra $10.00 you see are due to sending overages being applied to the account. Your plan currently has 130 receiving pages and 30 sending pages. Your plan has been upgraded to include 150 receiving pages and 150 sending pages. A one courtesy credit was applied for $10.00 on the account." Hello? I only sent 3 faxes, received none, we do all of our communication via email since 2018, they were one page each, all grey scale, and two of those failed.
Then they blamed "transmission time" for the overage charge. Huh? Each was one page, black and white, and two of those faxes failed. A page is a page, counting the failed faxes, I sent 3 black and white in 2020.
My experience with these people is that they cheat, lie, and don't make sense. A fax is a fax, a page is a page.
They only refunded the $10 overgage charge when I confronted them about it because I just so happened to see it in a bank alert. How many overage charges do they slip by customers?
So I canceled the contract, they agreed to it, (duh), but then couldn't confirm if it was canceled as of now and I'd get a refund, (not expected), or if I'd have use of it until the end of the term. They also confused the end of the term, saying it was until July 2021, when it's actually only to October 2020. I asked them, (this was text tech support, which I resorted to because the phone tech couldn't speak or understand English), to verify they had the correct account, because my account ends in October, not July, and because they charged me overage when I'd only done 3 pages, (two failed), in 6 months, and have a contract for 130 pages. I was trying to help them figure out where they screwed up. And at that point, the text support went dead. "Hello - Are you still there?" Dead.
I'd look elsewhere for internet faxing, there's plenty available. In fact, the text support offered me 'a deal', exactly as available elsewhere, $10/month, to stay with EFax.
EFax, you fail the integrity test. Bye.

Hello Robert,

Thank you for your feedback. Our technical support team is located in Ontario, Canada which is a multicultural Country. I will relay your concerns in regards to any language difficulties encountered during your call.
When faxing through the service, it is important to ensure that all documents are scanned in black and white only and not color or grey-scale. A typical fax should take 30-60 seconds per page to transmit when scanned in the recommended format. As per our customer agreement 1 page is equivalent to 60 seconds of transitional. If you send large colored images, it will take much longer to transmit increasing duration, cost and risking possible line interruption. Please message our Social Team at socialsupport@efax.com so we can address any additional concerns and ensure that this matter is fully resolved for you.

Many Thanks. Stay Safe and healthy,
eFax Support Team

Review of ModAF

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Not a recommended vendor from my experience.

I've been using modafinil and armodafinil for over three years, good vendors come and go, unfortunately. I made the mistake of purchasing Modafinil and Armodafinil in a large quantity for me, over $500.00 "worth", (ha), from Mod.Af.
My first use was negative, I thought perhaps I was 'burned out'. Then I found two Armodafinil tablets from a previous purchase from ModafinilCat, at least two years old, and it still worked 'like a charm'.
I gave it a break, tried the ModAf product again, and there's nothing there.
ModAf said they could offer me a discount on future purchases to compensate, which is pretty humorous.
I'm being generous with two stars, because they got it to me quite fast, and I didn't have to sign for it, (nice), but their product is junk as far as my experience.
