Excellent experience

Excellent experience , had a problem with my boiler . I had the boiler fitted 4years ago and thought it was a 2 year guarantee. After speaking to the Call Center , it was explained 2 years was for a filler and I was covered for the boiler. Engineers arrived at 8am the next day and repaired boiler . Excellent service by both Engineers and Call Centre Thank You

This was our first visit to BQ Watches…

This was our first visit to BQ Watches , after looking on your website online and talking to a very helpful lady called Claire on the phone , we went to the store and bought a lovely Tudor Black Bay GMT.
The whole experience was great and Watch was stunning , thank you David for all your help and expert advice . Would definitely use again

The worst experience ever

I have have used travelzoo experiences and meals many times and have always had excellent good valued experiences.
This was by far the worst . On entering hotel no greeting the staff did not look up . We had afternoon tea booked for myself , two daughters and granddaughter. I have the Travelzoo app on my phone and had read I could show my voucher to redeem meal, as I usually did. The staff insisted we email them the voucher and should have bought a printed one. It took about 15mins and would not let us have a drink until it was done. Then was offered mulled wine , which had changed on the voucher after christmas to a cocktail. We were told we could not have a cocktail. We were expected to eat from a very low and even lower couch. My daughter is 8 months pregnant and could sit on this seating.

After a long discussion we were seated in an empty restaurant, which at first were told we could not use because it was being set up for dinner, this was 12:30 ! We waited an hour before we got any food . While waiting for this had the two incorrect alcoholic drinks , and my daughter who had asked for an orange juice and lemonade was given mulled wine. So we had to wait for hers to be changed. Then two of us ordered tea , which came without milk, and the coffee didnt arrive. By the time we got the coffee the tea was nearly cold about 15mins.
The food for the afternoon tea was very nice. The whole experience was soiled by the appalling service. Another party of 12 had the same afternoon tea , and after complaining were also sat with us in the restaurant. I would not recommend this hotel.
