Hi, I had to apply for insurance as I was due new insurance for my old car I then got a new car 2 days alter and you were too expensive so I got cheaper and different insurance i know there is small print with these things and been with you before for insurance. I really didn't expect to be charged over £50 for a few days insurance. I appreciate you guys have done work and set up things but any insurance I've been with has allowed 14 days cancellation before charges. I understand £20 or maybe £25 for any work give done but to pay a month's insurance and expect a further £11 to cancel is something I've never heard. I will definitely not be applying again or saying to friends and family to use you in future.
When is the cooling-off period? I set my insurance up on sunday 28/01/24 and tried to cancel on Friday 02/02/24 5 days later. Surely its the first 14 days of your insurance? I appreciate you've stated setting up things obviously this has to be done to be covered in the first place. Would just like to know when my 14 days cooling off started and stopped when I only applied on Sunday 28/01/24.

If you cancel within the 14 day cooling off period, you wouldn't be charged the cancellation fee, however the arrangement fee and cost for any days on cover would apply, as per our terms and conditions.
