Update after one month. You have replied that you are very sorry and to contact you and I did so. I was told that someone will be in touch with me and it is one month now and no-one contacted me. Please don't answer with this template anymore and try to offer a help when you make huge mistakes!
I wish I had read these reviews before!! Really, please stay away and don't risk ordering anything from this company.
My horrible experience is the following: On January 8th, 2024, I placed an order for a sofa with an estimated delivery date of February 12th. Despite checking the app regularly, the delivery date never changed. I planned my day to be at home for the delivery and even organised a visit from my family who were coming from abroad. However, on February 12th, I received no message from Wayfair. When I contacted customer care on WhatsApp, the first person I spoke to claimed that the sofa was in transit and they didn't know the arrival date. Sensing something was wrong, I requested to speak to a manager. After waiting for 2 hours, I received an email stating that my money had been returned due to a 'glitch in the system' (a typical excuse). It's infuriating that after keeping me waiting for a month and taking full payment, they suddenly inform me they can't deliver my order.
Upon calling them, I spoke to a more honest person who revealed that the order had never been placed by them and the warehouse in Italy never received it. This contradicted the previous claim that it was in transit. Furthermore, they insisted that everyone has access to the same system, so there was no reason for me to speak to someone else. This level of unprofessionalism is beyond ridiculous.
As a result of Wayfair's negligence, my guests coming next week now have to pay for a hotel because the company couldn't even bother to check their orders properly. To add insult to injury, I have to wait 5 days to get my money back. Shame on you for treating customers this way! It's a hard lesson learned to always research
and trust these comments. STAY AWAY!"
