Zero support.
Unclear billing practices, they scam you into forgoing the 30 day trial, then once you do sign up, there is ZERO support. Emails to support go completely unanswered.

Review of DHL
Absolutely the WORST!
If you decide not to pay their customs clearance extortion fee and clear it yourself, they will drag their feet on final delivery for a week to make you suffer for not giving in.
If i were a company shipping to customers, i would NOT use DHL, they will make you look like idiots.
Review of LCSC ELECTRONICS
No communication. At all
My shipment has been sitting in the warehouse for 10 days. Multiple emails sent to inquiring when it will be sent. Not a single reply. If I could give minus one stars I would the communication is just abysmal. I’m likely gonna have to file a PayPal dispute to get this moving.
edit: its now been over 2 weeks, and my order is still not shipped. despite LCSC's response that its due to a holiday, this is quite indicative of a poorly run company. Had i gone with my usual supplier, i would have my parts already 12 days ago.
Each response from them takes 2 days to get a reply, if they are this much of a shambles, they should just shut down the company now, because its going to go bankrupt from poor reputation sooner rather than later.

Review of Dragonflyshipping
a company so crappy they had to change their name.
this is the old Intelcom with a new coat of paint. The old problems of delayed shipments, no way of reaching customer service, blank no service wall webpage is still there.
i was supposed to recieve my package by noon, now 4h late im filing a chargeback with amex because this was not as described. they can explain it to amazon.
Review of pushover.net
excessively harsh to developers.
Look i get the reason for rate limits, but one app with a bug that temporarily violates the rate limit should not lead to your IP being banned. You had a chance to win a large corporate client, and now we have moved on to another vender.
perhaps a process were you have to log in, acknowledge the error to reset your account would be more appropriate especially in a developer situation.
also zero help from support, so good luck getting help
Review of sharpcap.co.uk
Brilliant piece of software. Like all astronomy applications, the interface does not adhere to universal design practices, but that can be forgiven for the feature rich and newb deepsky user friendly manner of the software.
every time I use this software i discover a new "auto" feature that makes things easy. Just discovered the auto flat and auto Dark field stacking and capture feature. I had been doing this the VERY hard way.
I generally utterly loathe subscription ware, and will eschew it over anything else that is pay once. but this one ill make a begrudging exception.
Review of Altium
good EDA, abysmal support.
the software when it works, works well, however if you end up with an issue that requires support beyond the KB, you are screwed. Calls to support go to voicemail and are ignored. Calls to sales, same issue, robotic "leave a message" beep, click.
This company reminds me of the dispair inc apathy poster "Maybe if we ignore the customer they will stop bothering us".
Review of Electroslim
Company engaged in relentless email spamming for advertising. If they are this unethical in business practices i can imagine what their ethics are like in terms of product quality and purity. Spamming my inbox one an hour is a sure way to get your entire domain taken down and booted of your isp. Which after im done this review ill work on next
Review of tailscale.com
It works, but the documentation is hopelessly lacking in detail. they assume the reader knows too much and have not put critical thought into their documentation process.
as such, we gave it a pass for our organization. we need partners that document things well enough that we can parachute new employees and not have them quit out of frustration with a vender system.
Review of Plex
bought lifetime Plex pass. absolutly zero support. The only option is to do a chargeback on your CC, that is the only way to get their attention.
Review of FreshBooks
platform is okish, but support is abysmal if you run into problems. been waiting on hold now for 3 hours to solve what should be a simple problem.
The point behind my going with Freshbooks over paying more for a bookkeeper is that this is supposed to be simple, and support available if you need it.

Review of Priceline
fist time priceline, last time priceline
rented a car through them, they didnt disclose the quote does not include the manditory 3rd pary collision coverage. I had CC CDW but was forced to pay double the quoted price for the insurance. very shady, they should properly disclose all costs.
Review of Budget Car Rental
Advertised a cheap price on price line, but beware, they dont include "3rd party insurace in their quote" so you have to buy this extra even if you have CDW from your CC company. The cost of 3PL is more than the rental. We were going to take it for a week but instead opted to use it only for the day to transger or luggage then rent from a more reputable car rental that doesn nickle and buck you to double the quoted price
Review of Trustpilot
Total and absolute violation of trust and privacy, not compatible with Canadian privacy law.
Trustpilot apparently leveraged some form of hack through Facebook to gain access to my private profile. I only found out about this by burying through dozens of pages of privacy settings on Facebook.
in my opinion this is absolutely abhorrent behaviour, by a company that purports to be the clearing house of trust. I feel like I need a shower after this violation of my privacy and I will be forwarding a lawsuit and complaint through the Canadian privacy commissioner and the CRT.
If we cant trust trustpilot to behave with integrity how can we trust any of its ratings?
Review of Janeapp
Absolutely infuriating interface from a client booking standpoint.
I suppose it works reasonably if not pedantically for booking a single practitioner but if you are trying to book back to back appointments with for example a rmt followed by a pt in the same practice it msjes you want to pull your hair out. The only way to compare schedules (because there is no othercway) is by opening up two browser tabs. The app then gets confused which practitioner you are bookeng for, and it turns into a huge mess. Even if you managed to find the two appointments you want back to back when you go to check out, it will sometimes select a different date for one of the appointments I’ve yet to put rhyme or reason to how this works, but I have taken a screen recording and prove it to myself that it actually does do this, which is horrible behavior from an app. At this point I almost go to a different practitioner who does not use jane just because it is so frustrating to use that platform. Jane app has turned into the bane of my existence.
Review of protecht.com
Scammy and unethical.
I bought a hotel reservation online, and they had this box to "protect my trip" that at first glance looks like another advertiser link. It's fashioned in a way to hide, and the default option that is selected for you is to "buy" their services. when you submit the hotel reservation, it gets automatically charged to your card even if you didn't see it. This is a massive violation of BC Consumer protection laws, and I've forwarded a complaint to the government for investigation as a result.
Review of Kinomap
awful support, they don't properly support the most popular fitness equipment(garmin). Video uploads are totally broken, I cant properly synchronize video to gpx. Very amateur company.
Review of Canadian Tire
Deceptive advertising.
Bought Sylvania lights for my truck. Was told its a plug and play operation, nothing else needed. Plugged them in and my truck starts doing this flashing techno concert thing. called support and apparently I need to buy another module for another $25.00 Even though the box says "plug and play"
Will be doing a CC chargeback for "goods not as described".
Review of Codewiz
zero respect for privacy, they keep sending me spam despite unsubscribing, which is a violation of several laws.
Ask yourself if you want to do business with a company that shows so little respect for the law.
Review of TrainingPeaks
total ripoff. They claim that you can import .fit workouts from garmin but nothing works. You have to manualy enter every single workout into your plan. TOAL GARBAGE WILL BE FILING A CHARGEBACK FOR NOT AS DESCRIBED
