I bought a Samsung heat pump tumble…

I bought a Samsung heat pump tumble dryer and received an excellent price together with free delivery as I wasn't in a hurry for it to arrive. The order process went a little wrong as I couldn't get to a payment screen, but a phone call to them soon put this right as they provided an alternative way to pay by card.
I had plenty of communication from them and the delivery was on time with friendly people.

An error was corrected.

We sold our Aygo through Carwow and received a very reasonable price. A mistake was made by Carwow as we received less than expected by £150.
After a contact with the company and a review by them into what had gone wrong, the matter was put right and we were sent vouchers for amount that was concerned. There was good personal contact by them and a willingness to admit there had been a mistake.

We needed a replacement induction hob…

We needed a replacement induction hob after our old one was broken by a heavy container being dropped onto it.
They had the one we wanted and with next day delivery. I ordered it and the delivery was only £4.99 for next day. This was in the evening at around 7pm. The hob arrived before 10 the next morning and was imnstalled by our electrician in the afternoon. In less that 24 hours we had the replacement hob working in our kitchen.
I don't think this could be improved upon for service and speed of delivery.

Good choice and sensible storage of…

Good choice and sensible storage of data so you don't have to type it all in again.
I notice some questions on the statement of fact from the insurer are left as blank or none, but were not asked about by money supermarket. These extra questions should be added to the data collection for clarity.

Good service, but not environmentally friendly

Good service and the item seems to be effective, but not very environmentally friendly.
It would be better if the cable was removable once attached to the item as it appears to strain the item at that point, especially when not in use.
The item (an electric throw) was made of polyester (a fossil fuel product) and the packaging said it should be recycled, but it was made of card covered with a plastic sheet.
No indication what to do with the item at the end of its life.
Speedy delivery.

Thank you for your feedback. Although we send only the booking confirmation initially, we do send out a range of travel updates, accommodation details and reminders as you get closer to departure. Then when you get to around 20-14 days before, we send you out a big final documents pack personalized to yourself with everything you'll be doing day to day. In regards to the luggage service, it's understandable to have reservations with any new supplier, however we assure you that we are working closely with Sherpr to make sure that it goes as smoothly as possible. Not the official website and costs more. Limited help when there is a problem.

I booked tickets for the show Wicked at the Apollo Victoria thinking mistakenly that this was the official website for the show. It isn't and consequently paid about £5 more for each ticket than the price should have been. The email with the tickets didn't arrive until the last minute and there was no help from this company available. Fortunately the theatre box office staff were very helpful and were able to issue me with tickets for the show.

Customer service doesn't get any better…

Customer service doesn't get any better than this.
I had a difficult experience as I was unlucky in getting two faulty belt sanders in a row and eventually asked for a refund. Howe Tools dealt with this in a professional and efficient manner. The faulty tools have been returned and my money refunder promptly. Their value for money and excellent delivery service are the best anyone could expect.

Pleasantly surprised by good value and prompt delivery.

I was doubtful after I read the reviews, but I used their online chat to check that they had the cassette I wanted before ordering. The price was competitive and the cassette was delivered very quickly. Well packed and tracking information was provided.
My advice to customers would be to check carefully that they have the item in stock before placing an order.

Update on previous review

Following on from my previous review about this company. I did eventually manage to contact them. What works best is either to say you want to buy something and then tell the representative that you need to first resolve and issue with a previous order. This gets you put through to customer services but you may have a lengthy wait. The other way is via the online chat but I have never got to anyone in under half an hour.
In my case they eventually agreed to refund me and cancel my order. This was after the usual response to tell me it would arrive tomorrow (it won't). I had a confirmation email saying it would take a day to notify the correct department and then 3 to 5 business days to issue the refund. They didn't manage this timescale as it was more like 10 business days before I eventually received my refund.
If you have ordered from this company and are frustrated by the lack of response, don't give up hope as it is possible to get your money back.

Non-existant customer service

There appears to be no way of contacting this company. The contact us section is a dead end. Everything refers you back to their website which has no help when things have gone wrong. They don't appear to have any email address you can use. The contact us page suggests you can fill in a form, but there seems to be no form available. If you phone you just get a message saying they are busy, call back later and then you are cut off.
You are encouraged to 'Chat to a business expert', but this is just an auotmated system which provides no help beyond what is already available on their website.

Not as expected and rather disappointed.

I bought a Shimano chain, expecting the chain to be as advertised. When it arrived it appeared to be a Shimano chain but it was not in Shimano packaging and the single connector pin was already snapped off. I contacted Merlin cycles who told me these are OEM products which is why they are cheaper. I pointed out that it doesn't say this on their website.
I had already removed my old chain so I was not in a position to return the chain I had bought.

Hi, We do often source products unboxed to save costs for our customers but all parts are always 100% gueniune. The pin would of been pre-pushed out to allow for installation. Apologies if you have had a bad experience.
