I bought a Qube 6x8 greenhouse from…

I bought a Qube 6x8 greenhouse from Halls for my wife's 40th birthday and am delighted with how it looks in the garden. We did have a small issue with two panes of glass being shattered in the box but Rachel from Customer Services was quick to get two replacement panels sent out.

The initial delivery was clear and the driver incredibly helpful.

Yes, it can be a bit of challenge to get it built, Instructions could be improved, but I didn't struggle too much.

Overall, incredibly happy and would recommend the company to anyone looking for a greenhouse.

Great products, repairs impossible

We love westelm products and have a number of their mid century pieces throughout our home. However the post-service experience is somewhat a bit of a let down.

For a company selling items into the thousands I'd have hoped/expected they would be able to advice on touch ups to minor damage.

When we enquired about our midcentury media console we were told spare parts weren't offered and touch up kits didn't exist. The only advice was to Google furniture medics in my area.

Accidents happen, the fault is my own. But the lack of help to even match a touch up is a real disappointment given the cost. Almost all other suppliers have spare parts or can advise on colour matching.

Lovely finish on the antique brass

I’ve bought and installed a number of Corston’s antique brass sockets/switches and handles across our house and have consistently been happy with the results. Yes, they’re expensive. But they look fantastic. Equally shipping has also been incredibly quick.

Consistently positive experience

We have 4 animals with Manypets and we’ve unfortunately had a few claims recently with our dog and cat. Manypets have consistently been easy to deal with and I’ll happily be keeping my insurance with them.

I can’t in good conscience recommend…

I can’t in good conscience recommend this company and their products to anyone and would advise staying clear.

Like many of the reviews in here ours developed a fault outside of warranty that has no possibility of repair. Specifically we have a Maldives Hydrojet, their top of the line spa. Just outside of the 2 year warranty and it has developed a leak inside the liner through the hydrojet part of the spa. This is through no fault of our own and clearly down to poor build quality.

Lay-Z-Spa’s solution is to just bin it and buy another £900 liner which would likely just break again.

These products have a terrible shelf life and Lay-Z-Spa themselves don’t care. Look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, on some occasions, things can go wrong outside of this period, and we are not able to provide the same level of warranty.

As your spa is nearly 10 months out of its warranty period, we are unable to offer you any further assistance on this occasion.

Great experience from start to finish

Great experience from start to finish. From the initial enquiry, site visit to test the ground, to the eventual installation, no more digging has been fantastic. Really couldn’t recommend them enough. They installed a 7.6m x 4.8m decking frame for us which was partially suspended over a verge leading down to a burn. Guys couldn’t have done more to make sure things were where I wanted it and that I was happy before heading off. Rare these days you experience a company with no issues throughout the process. Would happily recommend them to anyone.

Happy to recommend

Moved to Bought By Many for my 4 animals at our last renewal. Not only did they have one of the best prices but we recently had to claim for our oldest dog and the process couldn't have been more simple. Within a week we've had our claim paid out. Would happily recommend.

Lying about delays

We ordered a foot stool back in June. We understood delivery timelines were 15 weeks. Since then we’ve had two delays which are clearly just automated lies. The first told us the item was manufactured but that vessel congestion had caused a delay to October. The next delay pushed us out to November stating manufacturing issues. But I thought it was already manufactured? I have zero trust in this company. I can’t even cancel as they’ll try charge me 30% for the privilege.

Edit: now delayed to December and back to saying it’s shipping congestion. Do not trust this company.

Edit edit: Pushed to January and now fighting through hours of waiting on their support line.

Can't stress this enough. Avoid Sofology.

Had a fantastic experience buying recently with Countryside. My order came incredibly quickly and there was a small niggle, within a couple of minutes of sending them a message I’d received a call and it was all fixed. Amazing customer service and I’ll be using them a lot more in the future!

So so refund experience but ordering product was grand

Trading depot has had my returned item since the 9th of December. Multiple emails and a call to customer service and I'm still waiting on my refund.

Last call was on Wednesday the 18th when I was told my refund had been processed and I'd receive it within 2 days. Still nothing.

Emails have been ignored, I have no trust in them doing what they say they're going to do. If you think there's any chance you may have to return your item I would avoid.

Updated review, customer service stepped up and all was resolved. Other than this issue the rest of my experience was good.
