Please, Please do not order from Pilicat, no matter how tempted you are by the goods that attracted you in the first place.
I ordered their Blue Heron Watercolour Print Linen Shirt. The shirt that reached me would embarrass a Third World road-side stallholder.
Made of rayon/polyester; the design had been so poorly printed it was blurred and not laid out as shown on the Pilicat website. Yes, I did get a refund for goods (not postage) but only after purchasing tracked postage (£16) to a named employee at their address in Hong Kong. That package has just been returned to me, with a note from the international mail authority stating that no such person exists! Pilicat is a total sham.
PLEASE don't waste your money!

We needed to send a special gift to a very dear friend following a family bereavement in the most tragic of circumstances.
Gardeners Dream have always been our go-to company in the past and once again they did not disappoint.

Our neice Katy's family tragically had to say goodbye to their much loved Pug Sidney at the vets two weeks ago.
We decided that rather than send flowers we wanted to send a more permanent and lasting gift in Sidney's memory - Enter the "Absent Friend" Rose courtesy of Gardners Dream.
We ordered the Rose on line for next day delivery to Katy but in our haste we realised we hadn't seen anyting about attaching a card or message. But how to link the now processed order with a message.......??!!
An email to Gardners Dream Customer Services and they rescued the situation immediately. Rose and message was duly delivered; Katy and family were so touched by the gift; and darling Sidney will be forever remembered.

Found Palace Plumbers through the NextDoor East Molesey community site.
Was sick to death of zero responsive plumbers who never return calls or leave it 2/3 weeks to call back and then say they can't take on any work for another 3 weeks at least....!!
By huge contrast Palace Plumbers were immediately responsive and very organised and got the job done inside 20 mins. Only downside was we had a full hour's charge.
Would certainly go back to them in the future but possibly not for those "little" jobs.

Having planned and booked a 20th Anniversary trip to Granada for early April for my partner Paul and I back in February it was a huge shock to discover that tickets for the Alhambra were sold out until September. How could we be in Granada and not be able to get into the Alhambra??!
It appears the only alternative is to join a guided tour. So after a lot of searching on-line, price comparison, and so many booked up I did finally manage to get us booked with Grana Vision for the full 3-hour tour of all the sights, gardens and palaces. At £50 per person this did seem steep at the time but it was a special occasion and we were able to book for our Anniversary day so it seemed money well spent.
We were not to be disappointed. Our guide was Guillermo and he made the occasion for us. He was excellent, very friendly and his knowledge is truly amazing and fascinating - certainly not the dry and academic stuff you so often get. He is an asset to the company.
Considering the amount of people who are visiting at any one time, the management of the rotation of the groups is amazing, allowing space and time to appreciate what you were seeing without feeling rushed - an achievement in itself.
