I can't speak highly enough of this…

I can't speak highly enough of this company, from my first enquiry right up until delivery which was today.
Mike & Lorraine have been fantastic & so helpful. The process has been exceptional smooth. The car arrived early this morning, the driver was lovely, the car is fab. The next car we need her at work will definitely be with Car Leasing.

I tried to open a current account

I tried to open a current account, had to download the app, it said they were checking things out and it would be 2 business days, 2 weeks later can't get on the app, can't get to speak to anyone and can't get online. Went to First Direct and they did it there and then.
Absolutely ridiculous

totally unacceptable...

totally unacceptable.... I have called them for an hour and also been number one in the online chat for over half an hour !!!.
I ordered one mattress and two beds... bed one looks so cheap it;s untrue, comes in two parts and nothing holding them together. The headboard looks like something a five year old put made, cheaply stapled with the foam not coming up to the corners, looks dreadful. I've now just opened the second bed and find that the bottom base board and the lining for the bottom of the ottoman bed are missing.

Bought the light grey 100% linen fitted…

Bought the light grey 100% linen fitted sheet 2 years ago and now its threadbare in places. I bought linen because its suppose to last years and get better with age and so justified the expense. I don't know it its the quality from Soak and Sleep or just generally not made to last. The duvet cover that I purchased at the same time is fine though.
Customer services didn't want to know, just offered me more sheets at a reduced price !!!... I won't be buying from them again.

This was the response.... nothing about anything only out of warranty. As I said the duvet cover & pillowcases are fine.

All of our sheets do come with a 1-year guarantee, so I am afraid that these sheets are out of the guarantee.
As these are out of guarantee, I am afraid that I can not offer you a replacement, however, I would be more than happy to look into some additional discount on your new set as a gesture of goodwill.

A tear can happen from many different factors such as friction, washing machines etc. I'm afraid I won't be able to tell you exactly what will of happened to your sheet.

Please do let me know if you would like me to look into some discount towards a new fitted sheet, and which colour it is you are after.

I'm glad you say "possible reasons"... I've been buying and washing sheets for over 30 years using a well known washing detergent, getting a "wear and tear" hole in my sheet is not a possibility. Had you have asked how often the sheet is used you may have come to a different conclusion. You didn't even ask what detergent I used. Your conclusion came from your "team of experts" from only a photograph that I sent. As I said before I won't be buying from yourselves again, and I am still if not more so disgusted by your customer care response. On the plus side you were prompt with your response but then it's case closed for you isn't it. I would have expected you to take it up with your supplier and come back to me, ask me how often the sheet was used, how many people slept on it, adults or children, what temperature it was washed at, if it was tumble dried.... etc etc... nothing !!!

Thank you for your feedback.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you have experienced with your bed linen.

I have taken a look into the matter and over the correspondence you have had with our Customer Service Team in regards to a hole developing in your fitted sheet.

On this occasion our investigate concluded that the sheet had degraded due to a combination of external factors: such as general wear and tear; and the use of optical brighteners (which contain bleaching agents that will weaken the fibres) and the sheet in question had been owned for several years.

Unfortunately, as the fitted sheet was not faulty and it was significantly out of the guarantee period we were unable to offer you a replacement.

I am sorry if the possible reasons the sheet had worn were not clearly explained, I will be looking in to this internally.
