Excellent service, lose a star as no facility to review products on the website

Have shopped at Ellis Brigham for several years. The in store service is always friendly and the range on offer is usually excellent.
Would have been 5 stars but for the fact there is no facility on the website to review and rate products. I purchased a Patagonia Triolet several months ago, but until recently had barely used the jacket due to the various restrictions. Whilst the jacket is OK, the hood is very poor - the worst I have ever had on an expensive waterproof. I wish I’d stuck to my tried and tested brands like Rab.
Edit in response to EB reply: I don’t recall ever getting such an email after purchasing products in store, and my wife and I have bought quite a few in recent years!

Good products, shame about the stock and colour availability

Although expensive, the products are excellent when available - good quality and long lasting. However, the stock and size availability have declined significantly, whilst the range of colours isn’t a patch on what it used to be. The less said about the shambles that is the Outlet, the better - searched 8 products, no stock in any size, colour or gender. Please stop pretending you have an Outlet worthy of the name!

Disgraceful organisation, unfit for purpose

Leaseplan is a disgrace of an organisation that has failed to resolve a problem I raised 9 months ago, and which I complained formally about 6 months ago. The problem has left me exposed financially and from a credit risk perspective, and has caused me incredible stress and worry. It is very clear that Leaseplan's processes, systems and procedures are totally unfit for purpose, and that it is unable to deliver the service to which customers are entitled.

Ben: re your comments - I’ve not spoken to anyone yet, and am certainly not satisfied. I’ve had a constructive exchange of emails with one of the team, who has confirmed that someone is investigating. All your email does is pour oil on very troubled waters, and confirms my impression of an organisation that hasn’t a clue what it’s doing.

A disgraceful, unfit for purpose organisation

My complaint has been handled appallingly. The FOS has ignored the facts I've presented, ignored its own timescales, tried to claim that I've not had a final response from the business (which I have), and ignored the fact that my original complaint to the business remains unresolved 6 months after I made it.
It's very clear that this organisation does not act in accordance with its own aims and values. It is like every quango and similar body in this country - led and managed by box ticking virtue signalling globalists who are only interested in imposing their woke agenda whilst paying themselves huge salaries and gold plated pensions for achieving and delivering the square root of damn all. All ultimately paid for by the very people they are meant to protect, but who they despise - the end consumer.

Awful, awful service

Our boiler is just over 2 years old, bought from and installed by British Gas. We have paid for HomeCare with BG for a number of years. Phoned BG today as our boiler has packed up and we have no heating or hot water. Only to be told that we will have to wait 10 days for an engineer.
BG - this is completely unacceptable. You are ripping us off, firstly by charging a bomb for a product that is unfit for purpose, and secondly by not providing the service for which we pay. You are using Covid as an excuse for your systemic managerial and operational ineptitude.
My advice to people - avoid this shambles of an organisation like the plague. They are a disgrace.

Horrendous company - avoid at all costs

Trying to claim a refund for cancelled return flights to the US has been an energy sapping, truly dispiriting and wretched experience.
CL has used every trick in the book to avoid its responsibilities, from the usual cut and paste nothing to do with us moonshine, through misstatements (stating the airline wasn't offering refunds when it is), to stating that alternative flights were available on a date which fell within the period when travel by UK citizens to the US had been banned by presidential decree! In the process it has ignored English contract law and its own T&Cs.
The travel industry is ripe for radical overhaul in the wake of its disgraceful treatment of customers during Covid-19. The government would get things off to a cracking start by banning Carlton Leisure from trading.
