I really like Trustpilot. If I see an advert I always go straight to Trustpilot to check it out. That way you often find that the nice thing you were looking at is a substandard product, or even a scam!

Delivery problems

Having had 2 failed deliveries last week, resulting in the parcel being sent back, I reordered giving my son's address, which is easy to find. This is near to where I live and is on the same delivery round. Delivery has failed again today. My daughter in law stayed in for 3 hours waiting for the parcel. I really want this and would like to go to the depot to pick it up. I am told this can't be arranged and that 2 further attempts will be made to deliver the parcel. I have no confidence that the parcel will be delivered and fear it may be sent back again. This has been an ongoing problem for several years.

Update 18th March. My parcel has been out for delivery today and was scheduled to arrive between 11 and 1. The driver was in the general area then, but now at 4.30 he is far away. I think this will be another failed delivery. PLEASE YODEL IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER ARRANGE FOR ME TO PICK IT UP FROM THE DEPOT. I DONT WANT IT SENT BACK.
19th March: finally delivered on the 3rd attempt, very relieved it has not been sent back.

Well worth paying the premium!

It's well worth paying the premium for such excellent prompt service. I received payment in my bank account within a few days of my dog having a second round of dental treatment to resolve a facial swelling. Conversely my neighbour, who is insured with another company, is still waiting after several weeks.

Unsafe delivery

My parcel was delivered to my egg sales table outside my boundary. This is not an outbuilding. I would prefer delivery to my door, or at least inside my boundary fence

An excellent firm!

I had a new regulator and piping for my propane gas cooker. Both Jay, who fitted it, and Darren who came to find out what was needed, and to sign it off, were very nice young men. The job was well done and everything was cleared up. They were smart and professional, and also got the seal of approval from the dog. Living on my own with no neighbours near it's good to have someone I feel comfortable with to do plumbing jobs.

They can never find me despite the depot being near me.…

My heart sinks when I see a parcel is to be delivered by Yodel. DPD, Evri and Morrison's can find me, but Yodel can't. Admittedly I am hard to find. I spend ages on online chats with them and give clear directions. The depot is only a few miles away from me and I have given up a couple of times and gone to collect the parcel. I do wonder whether the directions actually get through to the drivers. I know exactly where they are going wrong but can't seem to communicate it to them. I have done 4 online chats this week and was eventually told that they needed more info from the seller before delivering it. This is ridiculous, It's a dog gate, not class A drugs! Hopefully I will be able to collect it successfully tomorrow.
Edited to say that I picked the item up without any problem, so I don't know what the info was that they said was needed from the seller! I appreciate the concern shown by Yodel, they have contacted the local depot and I understand my directions will be passed on to the driver. Hopefully things will be better next time, if so I will give them a good review. I noticed at the depot that drivers are paid per parcel so I can understand why they don't want to spend time searching for an address

Nigel was very helpful, he seemed to know exactly what we wanted and gave us all the information we needed to make up our minds. No pushy salesmanship. Lauren talked us through the insurance and guarantee options and completed the sale with us.
