I am guessing that if you did shop around and decided on us that we were the most favourable. As we are medical travel insurance specialists, we do not always appear to offer the 'cheapest' policy out there. This is very simply because we are specialists in offering policies for reasonable prices where other companies have been unable to. Rather than lump a premium on a condition, we take into account your individual health situation with that condition at present and charge accordingly.
As we are fully covering your medical conditions for travelling Worldwide including the USA, Canada and The Caribbean and because you are over 'retirement age', we do take all these factors into consideration and they do all effect your premium.
Next time you insure with us, we will pop a 10% discount on the premium for you to make it all better.
