Enterprise took £1,352.02 from my elderly mum’s account without her consent, after promising they wouldn’t.
She offered to pay £400 on the day of a minor accident, but her bank card was declined. She then used her credit card. Staff assured us they wouldn’t try the declined card again (wasnt her contract, she was helping outy brother)— but the next day they did, and emptied her account.
She’s a pensioner. They lied, and then shrugged us off with “we have our money now.” The manager told us the staff member who made the promise doesn’t usually work for them — but they acted on your behalf.
This is financial abuse, plain and simple. No apology, no refund, no care.

The sales process was great. Proper advice, support for our budget and they made sure we got what we wanted rather than up-selling.
The product is wonderful. Mid range underlay, with a decent pile carpet and the price was just right.
The fitting is where things got BETTER. We had the day from hell (not their fault, too much going on at once), but the guys who came to fit the carpet were beyond spectacular. They had to work around issues we had with moving things and furniture and they didn't hesitate to help ou5. They were absolutely fantastic.

Appalling lack of customer service basics
I booked a battery replacement and fitting at home for my car. They emailed to say there was a problem and they'd be in touch. They never called. I spent 90minutes on the phone being bounced all over the place and still got nowhere. Promised they'd email with update. They didn't. I called again only to be told that they're going to issue a refund but they hadn't processed it. Absolute joke of a company. No customer service, they screwed up and I spent my time trying to figure out what was going on because they couldn't even be bothered ro get in touch.
Never buy from them
Edit: I got in touch with Halfords AGAIN, following a phone call asking for me to do so. They hadn't even processed the refund yet. TWO days after telling me they had done. So, now I have to wait until Monday before the tree to five working day time period starts.
I stand by what I said. NEVER buy from them. I have found another company to do the service they pretend to offer and while it's a little more expensive, I am happy to pay for reliability over brand name

Avoid if at all possible
Had to deal with this poor excuse for a sales team following the death of my father regarding his mobility car. Their attitude was appalling and the manager couldn't be bothered to deal with the situation. Their customer service team sent me a stock email with a poor attempt at an apology. They really are the worst people to deal with (Newcastle Ford branch).

Disgusting customer service
Disgusting customer service. Cocky manager who is more interested in defending rude and disrespectful staff than listening to any complaints. Will not be returning here and I'd advise people to look elsewhere. Treated me and my mother like dirt when trying to return my recently deceased father's mobility car.
They 'looked in to it' and did nothing. I heard nothing back from the branch and the sad attempt at an apology from some faceless person who seemed to have sent me a stock reply in an email.
