Let’s hope your lenses aren’t faulty!!!!!

I have ordered lenses from this supplier for years and not had any issues. I ordered two packs of lenses and, when I opened the first box, it became clear that the batch was faulty. Lenses did not fit properly, itchy etc. On contacting Lenstore I was asked to write war and peace and asked for copies of my prescription. My base curve and eyeball measurements have not changed in 50 years!!! The lenses are clearly faulty!! What does my prescription have to do with this..
Steer clear of this company. All is fine until you have a problem. They will avoid taking responsibility and make it as difficult as possible to get any recourse.

Turtle Bay Ealing- don’t waste your money!!!

Having eaten at Turtle Bay in Bournemouth, I was looking forward to the Ealing experience as the Bournemouth food had been very good.

Alas, this was one of the worst dining experiences ever. The service was okay but the food ( and drink) left much to be desired. Ordered a Diet Coke; after two attempts this was abandoned as the drinks they brought tasted nothing like Diet Coke!! I was told by the waitress that they mixed it themselves- FAIL!!

The curry goat consisted of tiny chunks of meat swimming in thick, too spicy ‘curry’; the salt fish fritters were hard with minimal salt fish encased in thick dough; the mac n cheese bites were also hard and covered in an unidentifiable sauce.

Will not return or recommend!!!

Truly horrible experience!

Truly horrible experience!! Ordered some items for click n collect which I then tried to return to the store. The returns process is a shambles. I returned 6 Yankee Candles only for the online returns portal to advise that my return has been rejected!! So I am without candles or my refund!!! Sort this out, Asda!!!

If I could give this company -5 I…

If I could give this company -5 I would. I purchased a Gucci bag at £705 for my sister well before Christmas, only to have it cancelled three hours later due to ‘lack of stock’. A week later, the bag is available on the site and foolishly I buy it again, hoping to at least gift it for New Years. Cancelled again, on Christmas Day!!

Moreover, I used £150 in vouchers to pay, the rest by PayPal. I have been refunded £100 in vouchers, WHERE IS THE OTHER £50???!!!!

Absolutely shocked that a company this big has such appalling service. All the reviews here cannot be wrong😑. Stay away!!!

Non performance!!!

Placed two expensive orders last week. Money taken from PayPal but no confirmation emails, no delivery and no one answering phone calls or responding to emails. Very unhappy, want a refund!!!

If I could give this bank 0 stars I would. Their customer service is of no help, different information given dependent on who you speak to. Complaints Advisor very rude, argumentative, punctuates insults and accusations with ‘with all due respect’.
There is a reason I no longer use this as my main bank.

Really poor customer service experience…

Really poor customer service experience from the Chingford branch.
I arrived at 12.30 on 25.9.20 to collect a car, kept waiting until 13.00 when I made a fuss. All the time staff are walking around, not engaged with other customers. No apology made when I am eventually seen.

- car has no mats, no manual, no second key. Not properly checked as rear sensors (and who knows what else?) not working.

- Unable to drive the car away as the rear sensor cannot be checked by manufacturer until mid October. Very unhappy about this as the car was needed urgently!

- sent an email to Motorpoint customer service to complain, emailed the salesperson I made initial phone contact with, two weeks with no response from anyone !!!

-No update from the branch since my visit; no follow up, no apology, NOTHING!!

Very, very surprised and dissatisfied with this experience and looking elsewhere for my new vehicle. Compared to previous dealerships they are shockingly complacent and disorganised.

Update: Received a response via Trustpilot, promising a callback the next day. IT HAS BEEN FIVE DAYS!!! No call! I have phoned the Chingford dealership TWICE since then, promised callbacks within the hour, STILL WAITING!!!

My advice to anyone looking for a new car is to avoid this company at all costs!! If this is the pre sale customer service, one can only imagine what the post sale follow up will be like!

Non existent customer service

I have been a loyal customer for almost 40 years. I made an application for a price match some time ago which was refused. I disagreed with the grounds on which this had been rejected as the price match had fulfilled all the criteria but heard nothing more from customer services.

I then ordered the item but later returned it as, given the present pandemic circumstances and uncertainty with my job, I just could not afford it at the full price.

After I returned it, I realised that I had been sent an email approving the price match. I never saw this email as it had gone into my junk folder. I phoned customer services A few days after the 28 day period, explaining the situation. They bluntly refused. I then messaged customer services again and was told by a customer service agent that the price match could be done but, as he was going off shift, I would have to contact them again the next day!

I messaged them the following day and was told by another agent that the price match could not be accepted, despite what I had been told the previous day! This agent had obviously not read through my messages properly and, when I asked him to, just simply chose not to respond.

I then received a WhatsApp message from another customer advisor, Naomi, who seemed determined to fight with me rather than help! This advisor aggressively asked why I had not contacted them when I saw the email as they would have been able to help if I had. When I pointed out that I HAD called customer services a few days after the 28 day period, she changed her tune, advising that it ‘might’ have been okay, but wasn’t guaranteed!

This experience has been shocking and eye opening. Customer service is erratic; Advisors contradict each other, seems to be down to luck on who you speak to. No compassion or empathy shown, all about the money!

You have lost me as a customer as it is clear you would rather fight for a few pounds than continue to secure the thousands I (used to) spend every year. BIG THUMBS DOWN 👎🏾

Also notice how promptly those ‘reviews’ are answered!


Terrible customer service!
Ordered some Rayban sunglasses over a month ago on November 13th, told they were on delay- this is despite the glasses showing in stock.
Kept chasing and told they were in store and would be dispatched last week. Nothing. Phoned this week told they could see no reason for hold up with delivery and I would receive soon. Promised follow up phone call. Nothing.
Don’t let the low prices and discounts fool you! Never again

The new frame will be with us in the first week of the new year. However, we have a few other colours available in our local warehouse so if you wish to amend the order we would be able to dispatch them with a next day delivery service.

Avoid this company!!

Terrible customer service!

Horrible returns process

Horrible returns process. Drop my returns at the Southgate store and they always get ‘lost’. I ALWAYS have to call customer services which ARE useless . Avoid!!
