Been looking to replace aging office…

Been looking to replace aging office version. Was sceptical of too good to be true prices. However, decided to give them a try on basis of money back offer.
Purchase was easy, download instructions very clear. Had no issues with installation of software. Activation was straightforward followed instructions to activate by phone but used option on installation to get id online

Well things went wrong

Well things went wrong. Here's the issues, what went was good, what was bad and how they were resolved.
I ordered a new phone 15/8/23 at 10.17, was delivered at 8.00 next day. New phone at a significantly lower price than in UK delivered in less than 24 hours. Brilliant 5 stars.
Advert said box contained, phone, case, charger and cable. No charger in box. Contacted Gomibo, they apologised and said I was to return and they would then replace with another new phone with charger.
Problem, Gomibo said all I had to do was box up phone, attach returns lable, drop off at local shipping company and Gomibo will take care of rest.
Well it was due to go from UK to Netherlands, UPS needed some sort of export documentation before it could leave UK. It took 16/8/23 to 25/8 for Gomibo to resolve required documentation. Very disappointed with delay.
Replacement order arrived 29/8/23.
Exact phone I ordered, new in sealed box etc. again no charger in box despite advert saying charger was included.
Contacted Gomibo, were again apologetic offered to replace phone and contents or refund purchase price. I was due to leave UK on 31/8/23 for 3 weeks. I suggested the advert was wrong and perhaps charger was no longer in box, and they should check with manufacturer for exact contents. In mean time refund a small amount for inconvenience.
Gomibo agreed.
Perhaps Gomibo were misled by manufacturer or perhaps a whole batch of phones were missing their charges. Will never know.
Had Gomibo insisted I went through the clunky, slow replacement system I would have given a 2 star review. After both I and Gomibo talked I think a sensible outcome was agreed and 4 stars is a fair review' You only really find out how good a business is in how they deal with customer disappointment
However, had the advert been for just the phone without a charger I would have no hesitation in giving 5 stars.

What a total lot of crooks

What a total lot of crooks. I have a holiday home and hire cars very regularly. I previously used a different firm, after they changed their policy for those of us that buy our top up insurance independently. It now looks like this extends to OK rent a car. I hired a car between 23 February and 7 March. I opted not to take the insurance. The car was collected around 9 pm in the dark. Was tightly parked in a badly lit part of the compound and a dangerous drop off tarmac to undergrowth so impossible to access rear of car. The car had black alloy wheels. The lighting around the office was very dim so inspecting the car was difficult to impossible.. The car had an incomplete safely kit and no accident reporting form and no registration documents, so clearly had not been inspected ye OK prior to our rent starting..
I have driven for over 43 years and never had so much as a scratch. I drive about 16 to 20 weeks a year in Spain and have never has so much as a scratch.
On returning the car the agent did his usual checks, it took him about 2 minutes to look around the car check the equipment and fuel and he went into the office. He then came out of his office again quickly walked once around the car again and then went to the near side frony wheel and "discovered" a scratch. I was told that because I had not taken their insurance I would be charged for this scratch. It would cost me €260 for a scratch I did not make.Honestly you could refurbish a scratched alloy for 50 quid plus VAT. My protestations were rejected including the cost to repair.
It was obvious that this car had a phantom scratch, if the agent needed to talk to his boss why the charade and walk round the second time?, which is a bit of a cash cow for this company. I will never use this dishonest corrupt company again, their loss I only hire 10 or more time a year.
My advice if you hire occasionally and pay the offered insurance they take a chance with them. For anyone using cheaper independent top up insurance Dont use OK they are not OK. I have a photo of the so called scratch, I have legal cover with my home policy and will be suing this company for dishonest practices.
This practice was rife in Spain, until the EU investigated following many complaints, it all went quiet for a few years but this corrupt practice appears to be on it's way back. I am in Spain next month and will call in their office and as for the HO­JAS DE RE­CLAMA­CIONES (CUS­TOMER COM­PLAINT FORMS). I have emailed this company following my return via their web pages. I have also emailed using info"ampersand"okrentacar.es explaining how intimidated we felt with their process. So far OK appear to have chosen not to reply or even acknowledge my email contact.

Thank you for your post. We're always trying to improve our services and the opinion of our clients is essential to do so.

First of all allow us to explain how our check out procedure works.

In order to pick up a car it is compulsory to block a deposit on a valid credit card or, as an alternative, purchase one of our covers. Our staff will always inspect the car after each use and will mark the damages on the check-out sheet, however, we always ask customers to double check it before leaving our facilities. This way both parties are aware of the existing damages before departing.

On return, if our agents find damages that were not marked, they proceed to investigate and, if it's considered that they occurred during the rental period, the customer will be charged .

We always recommend our clients to take out our OK Premium cover for their own safe and tranquillity on the road, but they're completely free to decide about it.

Great Black Friday offer

Great Black Friday offer, although delivered in time was longer than previous orders, yes I know thats harsh, but Stinyink previous delivery st my expectations high.
