Poor Effort
Ordered item online. it arrived with a totally wrong charging cable. Your only solution was to offer a refund. No offer to source another unit or proper cable. That is not very good on CEX,s part and certainly not a good advetrtisement.

Revolut couldn't give a hoot
Prior to moving your bank business to Revolut be aware that in the event you are a victim of scammers Revolut will do absolutely nothing whatsoever to help you. They will freeze YOUR account and make life extremely difficult for you. They will demand selfies, social security numbers and other personal financial information from you BUT appear to be totally unwilling to demand the same of those using Revolut to thieve from you. It appears the criminals using Revolut are teflon coated. Makes one wonder. I would confine a Revolut account to a hundred euro or so and use a mainstream high street bank for serious amounts.
All hot air. You just keep asking for the same information you have been given many many times and do nothing. You demand this that and the other personal in formation for identification purposes but appear to demand no such information from the criminal organisations freely using your bank to scam people. If you gave a hoot you would take peoples money back and ban the criminals. but you do nothing so long as you are covered.

You will lose your money
This is a scam site GoGroupie seem to have no problem supporting their activities. I ordered an item advertised by Go Groupie. The voucher had to be redeemed from the scammers Supertrendinuk who sent an inferior faulty product not as described with no guarantee or safety certificate. GoGroupie, the responsible party according to consumer protection as they took my money continuously respond by advising they have contacted the merchant. The merchant who offers an €8 refund on a €50 item or a return the item at my own expense by recorded post for a refund BUT they refuse to advise me how much will be refunded. I am convinced this demand to return the item by the most expensive post office offering is designed to deter customers from returning items. I further believe that neither GO Groupiu nor Supertrendinuk have any intention whatsoever to refund my money just as they had no intention to provide me with a quality safe item in the first place. I would urge people to avoid these scammers at all costs. Supertrendinuk have after 4 months refunded the cost of faulty item and the cost of sending it to me. However they have failed to refund the €20 it cost me to return their faulty product by recorded post at their insistence. As we speak my position about these 2 companies has not changed. I will update again in due course.

Living Social have come good.
In Fairness Living Social have given me a full refund of the purchase price of the item concerned. It appears they could not get any response from the merchant who supplied the item. In the end they elected to accept full responsibility and offer the refund. Had they explained this in the beginning my position would have been different. I have now changed my opinion of Living Social and would not be concerned about buying from them again.

I am not at all happy. First you implied I might be up to no good simply because I wrote very good reviews of Bitdefender from 2 different email addresses. this was simply an error. I sing their praises because I believe they offer the very best security solution available. following your intervention I was locked out of my Trustpilot account and could not be bothered writing any more reviews. Today I wrote a review for a business without even realising it Trustpilot were involved.

Having tried the others I tried Bitdefender about 10 years ago and found it a remarkably stable continually evolving excellent security solution. We use it on pc's laptops, tablets and multiple phones. Never a problem with any of them. I cannot speak highly enough of their product pricing and support.

Horrible company to deal with. Are avoiding paying back credit balances on my accounts since December last year. Behaving as if they are in serious financial difficulty. My next move will be to protest outside their offices to hopefully attract the attention of the media. Never have anything to do with them. NEVER.

Acer Aspire 5 Rubbish
Pity I did not check here first. Bought a new Acer Aspire 5 on 10th February 2022. It packed it in on 31st March ( 6 weeks) Its gone for inspection and will take 5 weeks. Thankfully we did not buy two on the day as was our intention and opted to wait and see how the first one worked. We have now bought an ASUS. Will never buy Acer again. Rubbish. Expensive rubbish.

All Well that Ends Well
Brand new Laptop failed. Have insurance. Left to store. Very poor communication. Had to go to store to be told they could not fix it and would have to return it to Acer who would take 5 weeks to repair it. Woeful situation. Will never buy anything there again. Was in the process of buying a suite of furniture from them but went elsewhere. Update.. THANK YOU TRUSTPILOT In the end Harvey Norman, Ken,Luke and Katie were fantastic. Laptop was replaced twice.first 2 same 3 a different make. So all well that ends well.

Lidl United Office Shredder Model UAVS…
Lidl United Office Shredder Model UAVS 300 A 1. This is a very disappointing purchase as it broke on its 5th time of using when less than 6 months old. I reported the problem to Lidl but it then took a month for the warranty holder Kompernass to get in touch and when they did their response was less than satisfactory. Rather than accept the situation and send a replacement or have me return it to Lidl for a refund which is my legitimate right under Irish consumer sale of goods legislation they are insisting I cannot return it to Lidl but must disassemble it and return the heavy motor section to Germany via UPS for repair and or replacement. This will surely cost them a lot more than the €27,99 I paid for it and simply extends my time without a shredder. Would I recommend this product NO, would I ever buy or recommend anyone buy any electric equipment from Lidl in the future NO. I would give no stars if possible. I should say I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to resolve this issue not at all helped by Lidl's customer support phone line being constantly engaged. It appears Lidl no longer sell good gear only cheap gear. I will avoid Lidl in future particularly their middle isle. Aul rubbish.

Recently switched from Flogas to…
Recently switched from Flogas to Electric Ireland, 2 x electricity and 1 x gas account. First they failed to transfer and open 1 electricity account which cost me as Glogas had doubled their prices then failed to give Flogas a final meter reading for the account they did transfer resulting in my being unable to get a considerable credit refund from Flogas. No contact from them despite promises. I would advise people to avoid Electric Ireland.

My contract is due to end in February. I have tried to phone Sky Ireland to discuss, extend or cancel all or some of my services but they are not answering their phones. I have been left hanging on for 45 mins X2 and 59 mins X 1 so following advice from the Competition and Consumer Rights Commission I emailed Sky to cancel but they say no you cannot cancel by mail as we need to speak to you to verify you are the account holder. As they are not answering their phones I cannot do this BUT they will extend my customer status and increase my subscription on the date our contract ends without needing to speak to me to get my permission or agreement. They are quick to demand I honour our agreement while they steadfastly refuse to do so. It appears that Sky are quick to use bullyboy tactics in their efforts to get their way. I am now left with no option but to cancel my Direct Debit, unplug and stop using my TV, Broadband and Phone services on the day my contract ends. I will most likely lose my phone number but sure Virgin Media will provide a new one. To say I am unimpressed with Sky would be untrue I am livid. Thank the gods they don't run the 999 service.

VHI Firefox and Facebook
I have always had an excellent service from VHI but I have discovered that I can no longer log into my online account as I use the excellent safe and reliable Firefox browser. The VHI will only say that Firefox will not work and that I will have to use Outlook or Chrome. I have elected to close my VHI online account and conduct all matters via snail mail as I fear that the problem is Firefox's Facebook Container which stops Facebook tracking me. If my fears are realized and the VHI are allowing Facebook to track their customers it would be a massive breach of patient confidentially and trust and a reason to switch providers.
