Short Term Coverage

Having insured through this organisation before I found the process quick and efficient. I must add, I have never made a claim so the benefits of insuring with you will be known in the unwanted event of making a claim. I normally insure for a longer period but currently being insured for 30 days through my bank is soon expiring and as I am already in the US I needed to extend coverage for the remainder of my stay. By the way, as I am already in the US (Florida) I provided my US mobile number not my UK.

The technician was prompt at the time he was due to arrive. In addition, he carried out his task uninterrupted and professionally, leaving the damaged area looking like new.

Scuffed Paintwork Repair

Repair technician arrived on time, that is always a good start. He, Josh, carried the task promptly and explained each step to satisfy my curious nature.
The finished job was very good, leaving the panel looking new and blending in with the original paintwork.

Unreliable Stand-In.

My car was initially checked in at Mazda (Maidstone) 0830hrs 22nd July, after a 3 hour wait I was told the technician had not arrived. Evidently, the usual technician was on holiday and a substitute had taken over for the week. I was checked in again at Mazda for the 29th and the regular technician arrived on time and did a very good job. Mazda helpful on both occasions.

Sloppy and unreliable stand-in technician with no apparent customer duty of care, just a phone call to Mazda was needed to advise he could not make the original appointment.

Professional and speedy repair, but watch out for subsequent scammers after claiming.

The repair was carried out very speedily and on the alloyed time, as advised by the repairer.

However, what both concerns and annoys me is when I have made a claim, with this and previous, I start receiving telephone calls from scammers in India. They usually claim to be from a law firm enquiring if I was injured. They are, I believe, calling from Mumbai but they claim from London until I question them about their location in the city. They then soon abruptly close the line.

My question is, how do they know I have made a claim?

The email address provided by Premia to…

The email address provided by Premia to contact for my repairs was not answered on several occasions. When arranging the repair, having had to drive to Invicta Motors Maidstone, I discovered the service manager whose email I had been provided had been replaced. Invicta had failed to notify Premia of this change of personnel. Since purchasing my new car at Invicta I have found them to be reactive rather than proactive.
