SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS! Paid a reservation fee for a car which I decided I no longer wanted. Tried to get my reservation fee refunded however they are now ignoring all communication. They was replying perfectly fine when I wanted to buy it but now they don’t want to answer me.

Since writing this original review they have said they lied about processing my refund on the 29th December and are now requesting I email my bank details to them. After speaking with my bank they advised me not to email any bank details and suspect this to be fraud. They are arranging a chargeback.

Review of Kenwood Damp Proofing

AVOID!!

Do not use this company! We bought a property at end of last year, before our mortgage offer was accepted the mortgage company requested a damp survey, the sellers paid for Kenwood to do this and had some damp proofing done in the basement.

After moving in we located several areas that are damp and had 2 other companies out to check the damp and both have said that it looks likely the damp issue has been ongoing for a long time for it to have got to the extent it has. We are now being quoted over 3K to fix the issue that should have been picked up by Kenwood in their original report and paid for by the seller.

Kenwood are refusing to take responsibility because in their words ‘there is no equipment that can tell you how long a damp issue has been there’

I’m sorry to hear your unhappy with the quotation provided. The works carried out for the previous owner are dry and functioning correctly and we can only quote for problems apparent at the time of our visit and that our clients require. I appreciate your concerns that other parts of the building need some repairs now, however with older buildings defects can develop at a later date. If your looking for works to be done, please get in touch and we can look to offer a discount on the cost of the quote.

AVOID ORDERING UNLESS YOU CAN BE AT THE PROPERTY 24 HOURS A DAY

I ordered drawers and before ordering I messaged their Facebook page to confirm that I would be on holiday from the 10th December onwards and needed the delivery before that, the person on Facebook confirmed that I would receive it before 10th. The following day I was sent an email with a delivery date of 14th December, I emailed back to explain I was going on holiday and needed it before this date, they then changed it to 8th December without even checking if this worked for me. I responded that the 8th was fine but that I had an appointment at 6pm, to which they responded that they would make a note that I require an early delivery.

On 6th December I received an email and text to say my order would arrive on 8th December between 6:50-9:50am: so I woke up in the early hours of the morning to travel to the property as I don’t live there and after tracking the driver at 9:50am they was still 10 stops away from my address. After emailing them 4 times I finally got a response just before 5pm saying that the driver will be with me around 5:30pm, which I responded that as discussed before I ordered I would not be home at that time as I had an appointment. I asked them to wait until 6:30 when my partner would be at the property, I felt this was a reasonable response considering all of the issues I already had. I received no response to this email, my partner waited at the property until 8:45pm before needing to leave.

Basically unless you have time to wait around for a whole week so that they can turn up whenever they feel like, don’t bother ordering.

DO NOT BOOK AT GRAND FELDA

DO NOT BOOK!

Was living at Grand Felda house Wembley
- internet rubbish
- oven blew up and was told it was my fault for using it too long and was replaced with a microwave and told I had to live off of microwave meals for the last 6 months. When I read the manual for the oven it said it can be used for up to 9 hours and I was using it for 20 mins.
- lost 3 of my parcels and found 2 of them but didn’t apologise for calling me a liar
- lost 2 birthday cards, one of which included money!
- lifts & escalators always broken
- radiator broke
- was accused of playing loud music even tho I was on holiday at the time and had been for over a week.
- rude staff
- still waiting for my deposit back which was supposed to take 10 days and it’s no been 17 days and still not back.

I’m sure there’s things I’ve missed out but I can’t think of everything off of the top of my head.
