Wanted to buy 4 cushion inserts

Wanted to buy 4 cushion inserts. Store said 23 available but in warehouse and didn't have enough staff to get them. Then ordered them using the website for click and collect at the same store (Plymouth). Accepted order and took the money. Next day said order had to be cancelled as unable to pick order and money to be refunded. What a shambles will now order through Amazon!

Stock persistently not available

Some clothing items in some sizes have not been in stock for over 6 months. In response to queries they say they will be available in October 2024, and then end of January 2025 but still not in stock. Who knows if they are ever going to restock.

We have ordered blinds from this…

We have ordered blinds from this company several times before without any problems. This time the vertical louvres were several cm too long even though the measurements were correct. The email contact form wasn't acknowledged as received and they don't answer the phone. Just hoping they will respond to the email...
Pleased to say the company did respond and replaced the blinds free of charge.

Another person's parcel was delivered…

Another person's parcel was delivered to us. The correct address was in another road in another postcode area. No way to contact Evri to get them to pick up the parcel and redeliver to the correct address so we had to redeliver it. Useless customer services for this problem.

A warning regarding long term issues

Beware of long term issues with this furniture. The decorative vinyl wrap surface has recently peeled off the bedroom furniture manufactured by this company after 3 years. The furniture has not been exposed to severe temperature changes, sunlight or damp. This is after some of the units had to be replaced when provided in 2020 as they didn't fit. We were seriously mislead regarding the quality of this furniture considering the price paid, and in my opinion the furniture we bought was not fit for purpose.

Website error if you have a previous address on your account

Ordered online through my account and at the check out the website said 'no shipping address' even though I had put in my address, then suddenly defaulted to my old address even though previous orders in the last 2 years have been delivered to my current address. Unable to amend or cancel through customer services. They advised updating the delivery address through courier tracking but I don't think this will work as the old address is in Essex and the new one in Devon! If this doesn't work I have lost money and won't order from Boots again and will close my account.
I have just read multiple other reviews highlighting the same problem and it seems to be a website error that Boots haven't bothered to fix - very poor treatment of customers.
An update- the courier is Royal Mail and you can only redirect to a neighbour or collect it from a local office so no use to me in Devon. The advice given by Boots is useless unless you are local to your old address. It would appear the company are defrauding customers due to errors on their faulty website.

Long wait for one pillow

Ordered a pillow on 15/2/22. I would not have ordered if the availability and delivery time was clearer on the website. The order summary said delivery 7-10 days but the invoice had the added info 'Please note that in busy periods delivery may take up to 28 days' in tiny print. Now I see that Dormeo has recently replied to reviews on here stating that some pillows are not in stock. In my opinion the delivery information, in the TV ads, and on the website, is misleading in regard to availability and delivery.
I will have to wait for the 28 days to be up before taking it further but would not order from this company again unless they improve their communication with the customer.

Delivery: Free delivery in 7-14 days. We also advised "please note delivery can take up to 28days in busy periods"

Double cocoon chair cover not worth the money but good response to complaint

Purchased a double cocoon hanging chair cover in September 2020 from Otter Garden Centre, Plymouth. The cover was marketed as tear resistant but just after the Bramblecrest guarantee expired the top of the cover split over part of the chair frame. For £99 I would expect it to last longer than a cheap one from Amazon!
Have now sent photos of damage to Bramblecrest as requested- awaiting reply.
9/2/2022- free replacement cover provided by Bramblecrest- excellent customer service.
