Having been a customer for more than 20…

Having been a customer for more than 20 years my home insurance renewal was received and it had increased by 75%. There were no changes to the policy or the cover .... but price had jumped from €400 to €700 .... total rip off merchants. When I complained I was told it was due to the central bank implementing new rules.

Wrong size shutter blinds … incompetence

Having waited 14 weeks for our shutter blinds the fitter arrived with blinds that were the wrong size. He had taken the measurements himself, but blamed the factory for not understanding his specifications!

The original order was given in July, the new delivery date is 10th February, 2023!

Good product, good value .... but poor scheduling leads to frustration.

I ordered plantation blinds in March 2020, a fitter, measured up and we were told there was 12 week lead time. This was extended due to COVID but blinds arrived and were installed in July, a separate blind was ordered for a landing window the fitter forgot to bring it. After fitter left we also realised that our tilt windows could not tilt due to frame of the plantation blinds .... this should have been pointed out but Sienna failed to do so. We had to wait a further 5 months for the remaining blind.

It is frustrating, Sienna have a good product and the installer, Matt, does a great job ... but the company struggle to organise their schedule and place unrealistic demands on their fitters.

Hi Danny, Im sorry that you are disappointed with our service. I understand that your sash windows open and close in typical up down sliding sash fashion but do tilt also for cleaning purpose. We are sorry that as you have said Matt erred in pointing this out to you. The window concerned is a bay window and where the shutters are mounted is the only way to install shutters to that particular type of Bay window. The initial delay was due to covid lock downs as you have said and was of course out of our control. RE the Blind, Matt who always tries to accommodate customers and whom you said does a great job decided to organise a blind for you , we as a company do not offer a BLIND service and this is perhaps why this issue arose. Again we appreciate your constructive criticism and always listen to our customers to improve our service. Sienna Shutters

This company (Energia) mean nothing to…

This company (Energia) mean nothing to me - I will stay with them for 12 months, then I will source another supplier to get a better deal - they make little effort to keep their customers. The electricity is supplied to my home whether I use them or not, they offered the best deal for charges for this year and no doubt someone else will offer a better deal when the contract runs out. Why they have prompted me for a review I do not know ....
