Hermes keep pestering me for a review, so here you go.
Don't use Hermes, they are awful.
I sent some glasses using Hermes. I knew they were not covered for breakage, it's one of their excluded items, so I carefully packed them with copious mounts of foam wrap, in the original box. I then wrapped that box in a lot of bubble wrap, and put it into a bigger stronger box, full of extra foam packaging. There was no way they could break the glasses.
They didn't break them, as far as I know. THEY LOST THE ENTIRE BOX WITHOUT TRACE.
They refused me compensation because glassware is an excluded item! I would have understood if they had delivered the parcel and the glasses were broken, but to lose the parcel completely and then deny responsibility for it is something to comprehend. They make you jump through hoops for a couple of weeks too just to get fobbed off.
Awful company, poor customer service, don't give a hoot about the customer.
