Not a good experience
Not a good experience. They tried to deliver Monday and when they spoke to me on the ring doorbell I explained I was only 10 minutes away, could they hang on as I was almost home. Was told no they would not wait, I would have to rearrange and he walked away mid conversation. I rearranged for Friday and was told by email that the delivery would be with me between 8.15am and 10.15am, I took the morning off work, but it didn't arrive. I phoned the office to see if it was coming, to be told she had text the driver and they told her they didnt know when i would get it. She could give me no idea of time. I had taken the morning off work for the delivery and needed to go out for work around lunchtime. I asked if it was likely to be the end of the day she said they couldn't tell me. She said if I couldn't be in I would have to reschedule it again - and take yet more time off work! I had no choice but to stay home and wait. The drivers finally came at around 5pm, I asked why they couldn't have called or given the office some idea of timings so I could at least have gone into work, as I would have been home from work at 5pm anyway. They told me they had received no calls from the office to even ask them about timings! Poor service. They refused to wait 10 mins for me, yet I was expected to wait almost 7 hours past the due time. A phone call would have made things so much easier and could have prevented this. The driver said they didn't have time to ring customers to inform them that they may be 6 hours late, yet there were two of them. They could at the very least inform the office as soon as they knew the drop wasnt going to happen in the expected timeframe, so that the office could let the person waiting know. Not great! Their website states how they have fantastic customer service, I did not get this today.
